@@Graphicious Sure thing! BTW I left a comment/question on another video of yours but it probably got lost. Question: When using portrait oriented video from a smart phone, how can I fill in edges of a wide-screen canvas with 'blurred' content from the actual video clip instead of just leaving the canvas 'blank'. I watched your video about changing the color of the canvas which is OK but infill with something that's close in color/brightness would be less distracting IMHO. Hope this makes sense? Thx in advance if it's something you choose to explain for your audience ie: me. 🙏🏻😁
@@NextLevelCarpentry Sorry, I didn't realise that was a question on your other post, I thought you were saying you figured it out. Anyway, what I would do in your case, if you want to have consistency of color, just make a duplicate of the vertical video, and scale it way up, in the background, until it fills the widescreen area (it's ok if the top and bottom get out of the canvas). Then, between that and the top video, add a blur annotation (or two or three), stacked on top of each other, to make things blurry). I can make a quick tutorial if you want.
@@Graphicious Thanks for the tips... I can probably figure it out with them alone but if you're willing to make a video (or are pressed for content ideas?) it would make it a lot easier for this tech-challenged carpenter 😎 Thanks either way though... knowing you have answers to so many Camtasia challenges is a real stress-reliever! Best, Matt
@Janet Wall It certainly did Janet. After 3 years of wrestling with Camtasia, I finally properly understood the process - shame faced to admit this. Well done, Cristi!
Thanks Jaime! I just had a busy end of year, but I'm preparing more content for 2022 right now. I've got SO many cool things coming. Thanks for following my channel!
Very well done. I like how you break down your explanations. Question: how can I grow/shrink a logo from the side of it versus the center? Like pushing it through a tube so that it gets larger as it comes out. Thanks in advance.
@@Graphicious Correct, but it's still a bit off. How about if it behaved like air being blown into a balloon? I'm imagining a bit of warping while it takes shape.
Yeah, that is not possible in Camtasia. You could make the animation really short and adding a motion blur at full intensity on it for a more organic effect
Thanks for taking the time to post this video - it is very useful. One question - is it possible to use easing between the keyframes? I can see nothing in the custom animation settings that would permit this, perhaps its elsewhere? KP

Great job... thanks for another in-depth tutorial! Always pick up a new trick or two from your videos...
Best,

Glad you like them! Let me know if you have other questions.

Thank you. This is great. I appreciate you doing this for us.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for providing your feedback.
@@Graphicious I was the one that originally asked you to put together a video on this topic. Thanks for following through. It helps more than me.
I know, and I hope it answered your question.

Thank you! I believe on Windows, you hold down Shift to distort an object. On the Mac it's Shift + Cmd.

Very nice

Thank you! Yes, easing is defined by right-clicking on the arrow of the animation and choosing the easing type.
@@Graphicious Perfect - thanks v much!
thx
Thanks for watching!
I shrunk my object so small all the corners of the boxes are merged into one and I can't make it regrow. How can I fix this?
You can select it on the timeline and then change its size or scaling from the properties panel, if the handles are impossible to grab.
