This one needed a lot of work, but the source material was great. Perhaps I'll take time to work on the second show, which was amazing too !
Fantastic concert and sound! I must’ve seen James Brown more than 15 times at the rock club’s in new York city between 1980 and 1983. This brings back a lot of memories.
I saw the concert where he had the New Breed( JBs with Bootsy) as he called them. in 1970. The "LIVE AT HOME IN AUGUSTA, GA" LP was half live and half recorded in the studio. He performed "BEWILDERED, I GOT THE FEELING & GIVE IT UP OR TURNIT ALOOSE" exactly like the album! We had no idea what we were witnessing except it was the baddest live music I ever heard! This was right before the album was released!
Correction! The album was released right before the concert.
This is awesome, don't think I've heard I'll Go Crazy from this show. Earliest recorded live performance of the Nonstop rendition.
This is seriously insane!
I would give my right arm and leg for a copy of that show! There are full concerts of JB in private collectors' hands.
I saw James Brown in Philly maybe a month after this at the old Valley Forge Music Fair. Almost the same set. Thanks for the memories!
Rockefellers was the spot! I was 10 when this took place, had I been 18 or 20, I’d been there fa sho!
Thank you so much for uploading this fantastic James Brown's Concert!!💓💓💓🎼🎼🎼🎶🎶🎶
Amazing work !
My Man! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Well done, I have the later show.
It's a really cool set too. We'll probably take time to work on it too
FYI, in your set list you left out the first song right after the intro, HONKY TONK which starts at 00:17 and also you left out I CAN’T STAND MYSELF which starts @ 55:44. Hopefully you can add those. Thanks!
Thanks Paul, I just corrected that !
@audi presley NOTHING!! 😂🤣 But better to have the set list correct right? Especially for the casual James Brown fans who may not know what some of the songs are.
Paul do you know what JB concert on video was destroyed when a fire was set at his warehouse?
Perfect Doppleganging Club
