Powell-Pepper had like 5 or 6 highlights in this video and he only kicked 31 for the year (but credit to him, he kicked some great goals in 2023). Carlton kicked over 300 goals as a team in 2023, but had like 4 highlights in the whole video. I'm not saying this is right or wrong, it just seems strange 🤔
Because PP had to face the opposition by himself to try and get port over the line with freakish goals, meanwhile carlton played as a team and kept beating nearly ever teams defence with ease.
The more I watch Jamie Elliott's goal at 11:26 the more I think it was actually goal of the year, he had to do so many things perfectly under direct pressure for that to work out and he did it
