*ESURF Update 2021 -* seems like Esurf is back with NEW OWNERS after a long transitional phase. Check their updates on instagram.com/esurf/ Please note it's a completely different team behind a new model, not Alexander and his Swedish team anymore.
@@JetSurfingNation This technology has been around for decades, only costly thing is the battery and control system, which now is common, the coding for the motor and control systems likely are adapted from the RC industry and modified to suit, i really think these could be manufactured at a much lower cost, to be made available for a lower end consumer price.
What technology are you talking about? Dealing with salty water and electric battery is a next generation challenge that most companies are still trying to solve.
@@JetSurfingNation that doesn't cost as much as it would be to build one. plus they could release a fresheater only version as well if that was so expensive. I've worked with RC components for a very long times and these should not cost near what they do
if the battery was light enough like the new supposed aluminum airflow batteries could you make it fly? What kind of motor is used in you board? Looks very advanced!!
Forget the boards the .!!!!MANSION$$$$ is beautiful and they say money can’t buy happiness I’ll wake up crying every day if I wake up in that mansion Getting so happy like that will make tears of joy stream down my face 🤣🤣🤣
When the question of how much is it is avoided over and over again it makes me believe it is only affordable to 5% of the population. I'll stick to wind power boards
Esurf never went into mass production, so there is no price tag on it to discuss. Other jetboards are in the range of 10-15k, it's not a secret they are expensive water toys
It's too bad Chinese water is too polluted, or we would have these at a decent price. Its 2020, still can't figure out how to buy this or how much it costs?
@@JetSurfingNation ty for the info :) i checked out a few, but still curious when/if this one will be produced. either way, exciting to see innovation :)
JetSurfing Nation just looked. Didn’t see anything about the price 👍🏻 why not just answer the god damn question or are you withholding so people just wont lose interest because I’m guessing it isn’t affordable.
Perry Olson i’m not selling the boards and the prices depend a lot on your dealer and the country. Most jetboards are in 5k-15k range, this one on the high end
Guys sorry but I just cannot stand the chord control on such a brilliant product , as it takes me back to the middle ages .....get my Greek fellow citizen to do it wireless !
It's not about "go wireless".. The professional race boards like Jetsurf, Mako, Ewave and esurf use the chord as 3rd level of control to make sharp turns. You won't be able to do any sharp turns without it. The beginner and casual boards like Onean, Radinn etc don't use the rope but you can't use them for racing or do any sharp turns.
@@JetSurfingNation Thanks! You seem to have a pretty good relationship with them. Maybe you could let them know that when I google "esurf", their webpage doesn't come up on the first page of results. Kinda weird.
Looks like they figured it out. But the price comparison without an actual number scares me. Can I buy a small African nation for less or what? He makes great points mind you and the video proves it can do everything a gas powered jetsurf can do so hats off to esurf.
I don't know what's your experience is with jetboard industry but you are very naive if you think you are getting a good jetboard from alibaba. There is a company that is making e-bikes in china, which copied esurf and made a lot of white-labelling similar looking jetboards, you can see them here www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Electric-surfboard-Double-motors-Wireless-remote_62477412598.html?spm=a2700.galleryofferlist.0.0.67483bda0saq4y&s=p&fullFirstScreen=true They do look similar (visually) but in reality it's a complete crap that will break on the first use. The company is doing e-bikes and has no experience in producing or servicing jet boards that can be used consistently in the salty water. To put it simply, the electricity does not deal well with salty water, so the quality must be exceptional in each detail to have a safe operation, especially in battery. Another big problem is post sales service and repairs. If you buy a board in china that has no service points in Europe or USA, you are left alone to deal with it when things go wrong. Check e-surfer forum for all the horror stories of people who bough this crap and later received piece of junk that did not even work. As for Esurf - it was made on the factory in Sweden and I followed the project from the early prototypes so saying they "copied chinese board" is a joke. However esurf never went to mass production and remains a very small niche market for luxury water toys and yacht owners in Italy.. Cheers!
These Boards are getting cheaper every year. I think Electric Is going to outpace Gas boards in terms of cheaper price first. Saw these in 2010 and were $17,000. Now Radinn sells boards starting at $6,500 which is almost the price of a seadoo spark! I think next year they are going to get even cheaper. I Know for a fact I want a board when they become more affordable since I already own a jet ski. I love my ski, but I want another toy to haul out to the river with me.
@@JetSurfingNation Very true, at the same time, this is a relatively new sport, so when availability increases as well as popularity, it will get better.

What about the under water speed in the sea?
Useful on these reviews, e.g with this and the Mako, if you could stop the music for 30 seconds so we can hear what they sound like.
Yes I am doing it in the recent videos. You can hear real esurf sound in the pool scene as well in this esurf video. It's not noisy at all

15k euros for the board and battery. :O
Yes.
On alibaba for 3k I’m making a video exposing their fake business screwing people over
It’s not true. Alibaba crap boards have nothing to do with it. They exist and they copy everything except jetsurf but this one was made in Sweden.
