Honestly the fact OP can’t understand why his sister wants therapy for him before meeting the kids proves he hasn’t learned anything. If he really wanted to be in her life he’d do whatever it took. This isn’t for a relationship with a niece or nephew it’s for his ego. He doesn’t get to see how badly he hurt her years later. It’s good he knows that now but it’s too little too late
