Hello Adekunle, It is partly true. UI uses a standardized academic calendar. Unlike other universities, UI does not rush their academic session making them to seem slow. For example, the 2023/2024 Post UTME form is likely to be released at the end of this year or early next year. Let me know if you need further clarification.
