I have the KC COMBO and just love it! We did a pizza on the griddle last night and it was delicious. Amazed at all you can do with the KC COMBO. Thanks for sharing, looks delicious!
We’ve been playing with this recipe for over a year now and have found 5-6 ways that we like to make it with each being a bit different. Have fun and experiment with it. That’s what we’ve done and it’s made dinner a lot of fun.
Hi RJ, we live in the Midwest US, and we see about -20 to -30 from time to time, but that’s about as low as we get that I can remember. We haven’t had those temperatures affect any electronics to date, but we also keep our grills inside for the most part stored in the garage.
@@TheBarbecueLab thank you. I really want to get this grill but afraid it won't survive a few winters in Toronto (I won't have the benefit of storing it in my garage so it will be outside everyday). Too bad Pitboss doesn't have weather "rating" on this. Great video by the way.
@@rjhorwitz Thanks. I hope you can find a unit that works for you for your climate. I know winter can be rough on electronics, but take a look at the warranty on whatever unit you're considering. If that warranty is 3 years, you're covered whether it's stored inside or out for that period. That's what I'd do if I lived up that way. I'd find a rock solid warranty and put it to the test. Best of luck!
We have a video on that we should publish. All you need is an old towel and some vegetable oil. Heat the griddle up to high, and once it’s good and hot put a layer of vegetable oil on the surface and rub it in with the towel. I use tongs to move the towel and wear heat resistant gloves. Let that oil burn off for 5-10 minutes and repeat the same process. I do it 3-4 times and then it’s ready to cook. While the griddle is hot, I cook up some sausage or onions or whatever I have laying around. Then you’re ready for whatever you have planned.

Will a turkey fit in this?
Notice that you are in a cold climate. What's the coldest it gets there and does it affect the electrical components of your grill.

What are the grate dimensions on both sides? ( not square inches)
The Griddle side is 18"x19" and the Pellet side is 20"x22"
Thanks for reply. Looks great.
Great video thanks My opinion You need a mic So we were here you’re better
Thanks Dave. Since this video was recorded, we’ve upgraded equipment to a shotgun mic and a lapel. Here’s hoping future videos are easier to hear.
