It's a twist fight as Akina take son his own sister Hikari... from the Future! Weilding the 7th Fated One of Time, Hikari seeks to change Akina's fate by taking him out of the fated clash and dealing with Suou herself. @@lastace5422 Unfortunately (or fortunately) not, Persona rides don't trigger except for one of two scenarios:
A. You conduct a normal ride of a unit with the same name as the unit rode over (both need the persona ride icon as well)
B. A skill says you activate persona ride (i.e Gratias Gradale, Epee de Justice Thegrea).
So this superior ride doesn't count unless it says you activate persona ride. Hope that clears it up!

Do you think Akina runs 4 heals and 3 draws including 4 perfect guards or 2 of each?
Also Akina believes so much in Rezael I see why since Rezael’s his avatar/partner.
(It must sort of hurt for Rezael to fight his lover who was revived with the power of Gear chronicle just so she could save him but he’s fighting her to properly save her)
Side note:
It took 11 episodes for DivinveZ to show an OT and I think Akina will wish to heal Hikari and heal Suo’s heart.
It's hard to say, especially since he's switching up his deck's composition a lot.
Definitely, him believing in Rezael so intensely feels great, makes it feel like he and Rezael have an insanely strong bond like Aichi and BB.

Fun fact: the singer song Hikari theme is also the one song Mirei theme, even Bushiroad think Hikari is new Mirei and Amorta is new Bavsargra, i hope Hikari and Mirei meet each other in latest season.

I really wished that Liael=Amorta was dual nation because of the bind time skill (GC), missed chance!!!
Moreover, as much as I liked the explanation for her Divine Skill (going back to time for an additional attack=drop zone being the "dead" Liael that was reborn in lore), I still found myself disappointed because it's just a reride -1 💀. However, the sheer hype and beauty overpowers that disappointment.

This episode raises several questions for me. 1 - It seems that according to Gab there should only be one fated clash, but given Hikari's story it's false so on who's authority are these fated clashes being set up and why. 2 - Regarding how Akina beats Suo as I'm curious how far they will take it that we got theories how to win as Akina, but what are the chances they allow Suo to deduce the same ideas during the fight and tries to play against as knowing what counters your deck/play style and working around said counter is very legit 😂

This is by far my favorite episode this season. For me especially it’s hitting close to home. This episode managed to capture siblings relationship beautifully while also making great cardfight. I cried a bit when Hikari breakdown after Akina hug her, totally reminded me of my own little sister 😢. Even if we bicker a lot there is nothing I will not do for her. Emotional roller coaster on this one 10/10 for me.
Also speaking of the fight, this Fated One Of Time basically just does a version of Time Leap. It’s great to have Time Leap back in different nations.
It's such a wonderful fight, their arguments and the struggle both on the field and off the field was splendid. Definitely brought the series' themes home this episode!

Fight was hype as hell. Someone being pointing out that Akina has been pulling miracles in each of his fight. The first Divine Skill reveal, his crazy no heal, no PG deck and now this episode.
It make me wonder what miracles can possibly top what Akina pulled this fight? Stacked a trigger for divine skill followed by an OT and then a PG for the one card that is a counter to OT.
Maybe he lost after all but managed to change Suo's mind? Or some other miracle happen.
I'm glad they managed to get a hug together, that was absolutely needed.
Super hype for sure, the themes behind their relationship and the season really shines this episode dude.

@@godsman00 It is in manga chapter 4 (just search "Cardfight Willdress D2 Manga"), not only Raika used Sequana, he also switched to blue OT, basically his build is as close to ideal build as it get can get
We still haven’t reached the finale yet, but so far this is the best fight of the series. The display of Rezael and seizing the miracle especially cuz of the new support card, Liael’s deck overcoming those miracles, and the sibling quarrel, this was quite an impressive and fun fight.
Liael’s divine skill is actually kinda nuts, I was not expecting a superior persona ride from drop. That’s practically being able to do 2 persona rides in a turn. And it’s a loophole to the normal skill as well with the 1/turn clause. But I think the one small problem with this deck is it needs recyclers, since the superior call is restricted to calling the same copy of the bound card only.
I’m gonna be honest to I was siding with Hikari’s determination on this one, Akina was just too wishy washy with no regards for himself and being too stubborn. It’s his character but I can’t help but agree with Hikari more on this.
Also wack theory regarding the design force and the fated clash’s origins. We know that it started as the aftermath of the dragontree war, and that cray had the most design force right? Remember the lore that Griphogila drained the life force of cray? What if Griphogila was also draining Cray’s design force, and the surge of design force that came after the war was the design force that Griphogila drained that was released after its defeat. And maybe this is somewat related to watever Gabwelius is trying to achieve.

Oh interesting, rooting for Hikari? Honestly that's understandable, especially since he went through hell to accomplish the goal of saving her brother.
Either way you're right they both performed greatly! Liele is particularly intriguing but man the new Rezael card is pretty nuts imo. Tons of hype this episode!

I saw on someone theorized that Hikari has inadvertently change her brother's fate. Think about it, in her timeline Taizo never joined. Which means Akina never fought Taizo, which also means he never trained with Nao to polish his skills. Even here he's technically training to beat Suo. Tldr, TAIZO THE G.O.A.T🐐🐐.
And again, big shout-out to Nabs cuz I was thinking the exact same thing. If Akina wins and gets his wish, DivineZ may potentially be self contained. Which will be AMAZING to watch and recommend. That's IF Gab doesn't screw things up lol.

Facts
I decided not to watch this episode and wait for the final 2 episodes to be released before rewatching them all at once as a Final Burst to end the season. It’s ironic that I’m commenting on something that I haven’t seen.
Something I did realise on why the Fated one of Time is a Keter Card. Not only does she follow the sibling trend of the Myodos, but if she were a Gear Chronicle unit, she’d be part of the Dark States, ironically causing Hikari to play the same deck as Suo, the one who she sees as the cause of her suffering.

So we were right about the drop skill activation. On the lore side, Liael is Rezael's GF. She is but she's not the one Rezael knows. This Liael is from another timeline.

This episode is an amazing combination of character moment and moving the plot forward, it puts to show that Akina and Hikari care about each other but they also had some form of emotional distance because Akina is too careful around her as such it took a future Hikari for them to honestly have a sibling fight. Also pulling an over-trigger for defense yet having to guard again is such a rare thing sometimes, this fight was so fun to see.
As for some speculation, if Akina does indeed use Hikari's fated one card during the fight, its possible he may be able to get two wishes since Liael was not shown to lose the divine emblem, he could offer to save Suo's parents, Suo will reject and realize Akina cares for him.
If the future Hikari stays, there is a lot that could happen but I'm mostly curious if she and the present one would meet.
Oh wow, two wishes huh? It'd be a bit odd since Hikari already used her wish but hey it does have possibilities.
After all, the wishes are powered by Design for e and Hikari's unit added an extra helping.

After I checked Liael's second auto skill. I already know what Akina is cooking next episode.
Yuuuuup I already made a post on it too, and considering the binds can come from Blangdmire's skill, the mystery's been pretty much solved there lol.
I'm an Italian guy and I haven't received it dubbed in Italy yet, in fact they stopped at the second season of Vanguard (limit break). From then on the Vanguard series followed him in English understanding the right. Even now I am writing with a translator to express myself better. Who knows if the protagonist's father will be revealed, who knows if the stuffed animal has bad intentions or that it became like this due to a wish expressed by the one who won the fated clash a long time ago. Let's hope the stuffed animal isn't the father of those two

My thoughts on the episode:
- Fight was good I really wanted Hikari to win because it gave the less expected outcome but at least it was enjoyable especially them jabbing at each other at the end, I enjoyed the bickering between Urara and Halona except this time it's sibling theme and not children's fight lol. My only distaste with the fight is that they made it seem almost like Akina planned to hit OT after using that order when he very well could've superior guarded with a heal or OT, it just didn't really needed to be mentioned.
- HIkari being a doomer isn't something that I'm surprised with nor do I blame her if I was in her situation I would never give up on trying to stop Akina at least she was able to be convinced just enough to back off and trust Akina to create the most important Miracle he needs to make, but I'm not the kind of person to risk things so if I were her I would never back down. I can understand the hatred she has over Rezael too because it's literally the reason why Akina participated in the Fated Clash in the first place and the reason he died.
- I'm pretty disappointed with Liael's deck to be honest the binding concept is a little bit interesting but I was really hoping for them to do something with the damage zone they printed 3 angel lines consecutively and none of them actually do anything with damage with Rezael being the closest one and he only uses it as a condition. The Divine Skill is kind of boring like I get it it's effective and they're trying to do the whole "Go back into the past" thing by making you reride your vanguard to before it swung but it just isn't doing it for me, it reminds me a bit of when Gear Chronicle first came out and it ended up just being bot deck Kagero for a while until Time Leap became the general playstyle. At least the art style and Player of the rideline is very adorable, the starter reminds me of that one grade 3 order in Keter Trumpet of Blessing I think.
Overall: It was a pretty good episode, I think the main reason why I'm just not ranking it as highly is because I'm pretty disappointed with the reveal of the playstyle for Liael and maybe the fact that while I sympathize for Hikari and understand her struggle I personally just wouldn't be convinced no matter what but at least the scene where she finally gets to vent out her sadness and trauma was a wholesome scene that kind of made up for that fact. Although if you set that aside this is probably the best episode in the season or top 3 at least.
I pretty much agree with your takeaway, being a Keter goon myself Liele's playstyle was a pretty important note for me and honestly it seems pretty boring rn, but playing it might feel satisfying in practice so I'm not terribly hyped but I'll hold out hope and hold *off* my disappointment lol.
I like how you pointed out the instruments, the Rideline does indeed touch on a pretty overlooked facet of Keter which is their musical theming, despite it being oddly all over the place (including in the triggers like Alpacc). Perhaps it's in part Lyrical's fault since the dominate the headspace of musical units in vanguard lol
@@godsman00 actually I would say musical in D stems more from Lianorns cards, Lyrical has some musical cards but the ones that are all music is from Lianorn

It's got crazy potential! I love how it plays on the Keter themes of stability, consistency, and deck manipulation.
You bet, probably gonna be a fight between her and Blangdmire or Krysrain.
@@godsman00 Personally I will suggest Krysrain since after new set 2 support both decks aim for set 4 burst kill turn, and both decks test how fighters can utilize the existing generic card pools for their full potentials.
Blangmire is a very potent, meta deck, make no mistake, but his oppressive nature makes it hard to playtest a new deck (might kill it before she has chance to shine)

I want to point out something :
In Hikari's final turn :
- Akina let himself damaged on first attack to pull Rezael's 6th heal, compenstate to his low shield by using trigger power up
- the order card makes it possible to increase chance to get trigger, and knowing rezael deck it has a high trigger pull chance by trigger back to deck and the order card make it higher
- the second sixth damage doesnt need an OT but a normal heal is enough.
- Hikari can still attack and almost must guarded by pg even after Akina get OT means she anticipate the second sixth damage and it doesnt matter if Liael's second attack hit or not.
They didnt just make "oh overtrigger! I win!" like how they did in Dress series this time.

In my calculation she only get at best 1/2 crit, 1 draw, 1 pg, and 2/3 normal unit. With total 50000 shield & 1 pg, too low to guard Akina's field.
Deffinately will build her deck, this mechanic is interesting

Kimd of thought I already commented here, but I guess not so I'll repeat myswlf.
A while back I slotted Knight of Slash Sins Nehalenia into Youthberk, against a Zorga player, so I could spin his cards instead of them getting sent to drop. A friend of mine sees the card and asks "When did Keter become Gear Chronicle?"
Now. Now is when it became Gear Chronicle.
I get the feeling nothing will happeb until the battle with Suo. I'm half expecting him to still win, but to gain a new wish through the fight, only for Blangdmire to be like: "Fuck them kids", and at least do something to Suo or Akina, where the next season is saving them, and then having Hikari take up the protagonist role, and the Fated Clash is now about facing the versions of themselves that were sucked up into the black hole, or having to fight the players Hikari beat in her timeline.
Lmao the Gear Chronicle at home, truly.
That could happen, heck they already did a good deal for Hikari's character as is, and her future self is pretty rad so it'd be sad if they didn't use her in the upcoming seasons. In that way I do like the direction you're going but tbh it's probably best they just have this season be self-contained.
My guess for how Akina beats Suo will probably be him riding Hikari’s VG over his after Blangdmire’s skill shuts off Rezael and Akina survives Suo’s kill turn.

I get that, it would be safe and it doesn't feel like he HAS to go through with it, but there's a lot of skin in the game now. Healing Hikari of course since that illness is still ravaging her, but also saving Suou. He sees something in that kid and he doesn't wanna give up on him which is admirable. Having said that, I'd recommend everyone else except the plushie vacate the premises in case he can't make a miracle happen 🤣
Oh could you rip the OST that plays during Akina's Divine skill turn against NAO? It also plays when Taizo rides Welstra against Akina and a couple other times, been having that tune stuck in my head

Anyway yeah I'm glad it does do the superior ride, those support cards make a lot more sense now lol. Oh and point taken but I meant attacks directly initiated by the vanguard, Cairbre is a pretty obvious extender (again I'm a Keter goon after all) but I wanted to judge Liele's multiattack strictly on what she herself inherently allows since that's the guaranteed multiattack y'know?
Great fight with some great emotional moments, but I’d say it’s a little disappointing for me. Despite Hikari’s trauma and her criticism of Akina’s demeanor, he still doesn’t change. He reminds me a lot of Chrono in that he’s a bull-headed character, and he can solve all problems through sheer enthusiasm. I thought he might change by confronting his guilt over his sister’s accident but it didn’t happen.
Lastly, not trying to hate I swear, but I wasn’t too big on this reaction. Love you and your crew, but it felt like you missed some interesting interactions in the episode that I was interested in hearing your thoughts. Sometimes the banter I feel can get in the way of the episode, but I also understand making your own content distinct from the original and having a relaxing environment with your friends. Again, not trying to come after you, just an opinion. Love you brother and looking forward to what’s next.
Ah I see, yeah I can see the disappointment there with Akina, but then again like ya said there are characters like him or Chrono where their persistence is a part of who they are, and imo it's a strength.

@@godsman00 it’s technically wise not to assume things in general as it’s to easy to misunderstand things.
I found the drama pointless because I’ve seen and experienced situations like that a thousand times before, it’s old stale and for me personally boring and not interesting ( and it’s repeated from older seasons of vanguard so yea boring and pointless).
Though to be fair I’m a bit of a grouch and it takes way more to interest me then most people. Originality and creativity are what internet me the most, and quit honestly from the episode to the card skills and mechanics it was not original or creative in my personal opinion.
I’m sure lots of people would disagree with me and that’s fine as everyone has their own opinion and as far as I know🤔 having your own personal opinion or thoughts is not a crime. To me I just felt the mechanics and card skill for the new fated one angelic unt was an extremely watered down version of her true potential and possibles, it’s not a new mechanism it’s old and has been used before on older units
