I like that you state a front locker is on the list of future mods but people still find the need to tell you to get one in the comments, gotta love that. Ripper vid as usual, getting better week by week. Congrats on taking the plunge going full time
Amen to that 😂 people tell me every video as if I've never heard of one or don't know what they are, maybe they can pay for $2500 it costs to get one haha. Also, I never had to winch the whole video, drove the entire track, and out here having a hell of a fun time so what difference does it really make 👌 Thanks mate, appreciate it!
Mate iv'e been sitting in the back ground watching your stuff for quite a while now , and i gotta say your content and the way you have taken the plunge into youtube by putting your career on hold is pretty inspiring. All of your videos have been absolutely fantastic and having the little fella involved is every Dads dream , and speaking of Dads how good is your ol boy that MUX is a weapon ,i can see he would is enjoying every minute when he is out there with his son and grandson.Keep it going Tyler , love the out takes by the way they're absolute GOLD !!.All the best mate rgds Mark
Ah, another quality video. Like all the different camera angles... Gives you an appreciation of the terrain you are driving on. Good editing. Well done.
Mate another great video Point 1 24/7 adventures really under estimated the ability off the Navara. it is a true beast (I drive a 200 and your beast is right up there) Point 2 Love the bond with you and your son, make sure he does not show this video where dad took the the car. Point 3 and this is the best, your old man was there enjoying your adventures with you. Also love that you had warm cloths on your son especially after your last snow adventure LOL. Keep up the good work mate love your videos
Great vid, your longer travel rear working well for you. Thanks for the fourbie fix this weekend, had planned to get out but my wife n daughter were unwell. Keep livin through your vids👍
Great video mate, good to see your doing some hard stuff. The Oldman needs to get a front Elocker now. You mentioned that your Nav has traction control, when you loose traction on the front wheel that's on the ground and the other wheel in the air try dabbing the brakes. I've been told that by dabbing the brakes in that scenario will activate the traction control and send power to the wheel on the ground. Give it a go next time and tell your Oldman to try it too, it should work on the MUX also.
When you are lifting wheels and losing drive a little bit of brake will lock the spinning wheel and send drive to the one on the ground. takes a bit of foot juggling to get used to it
T/T. Glad to see more flex from your Nav' making it more capable off-road ! Have heard DMax/Mux owners are all installing Ozy Lokka's in their front diff' to stop the factory CV's from snapping ? V.
All good i am slowly building the missus up to take her out on trips like yours mate she isnt to keen on the 4wding part but loves the places we can go
I love the MUX but the traction control is nowhere near as good as the Navara's. That bit at 10:00 where the front left wheel just wasn't moving at all would have had a little bit more drive in the Nav I reckon. Also, I still never skip your ads mate. Since that video you uploaded way back. I'm just making breakfast and on the ad breaks I go and flip my bacon haha. Great video mate!
G’day T & M; and dad. Nice vision captured there. There was one part where the MUX had a high front wheel lift that was just turning while the opposite was not. With TC, your dad might try touching the brake pedal lightly while still on the accelerator. This might slow down the spinning wheel and throw some traction onto the other wheel to keep the car moving. Keep them coming. 👍🏻🙏🏽😷🦘
Remember that traction control is totally disabled when using locker in rear. I have to turn mine off or the traction control grabs on all spinning wheels and retards the forward momentum.
If Kai's taking a photo's maybe you could start his own instagram page to post his photo's on. Could be the start of a career. Keep up the great videos.
I can't recommend Outback Armour enough, I've got the heavy duty springs on the base model shocks and it's by far the best suspension I've owned. Same brand as Tyler's rear ones
when you guys are lifting wheels without lockers you need to drive with both feet ( brake too arrest the spinning wheel with the left foot while accelerating with the right to keep momentum ) awkward to start i know, but give it a go.
Yeah, but he doesn't drive too hard. I would bet Tyler will break less cv's than a lot of other 4wder's. Plus he gets to have more fun conquering tracks.
From someone who has the same vehicle as dad, i can vouche for twin lockers, without a doubt the the top 5 mods you can do. Winch, lift, tyres, twin lockers and manual hubs 👍
Why would a front locker cause more CV damage? Isn't it actually causing less spinning of the tyre without traction - thus less force when that wheel comes back in contact with the ground? Honest question.
@@nopressure4967 Graham cahill talked about having one in the red dmax for a while but took it out. On the extreme tracks it was breaking cv's. I think if not driven too hard (as Grahem does) it would help for most situations

Love that your dad is druving this stuff in his MUX with a stock rear bar and it's still in one piece!!!
Few dints in it but its survived haha
15:17 not sure if I've mentioned this previously, but a front locker would have crushed it

Your dad is doing a good Job in the MUX ! and that waterfall is killa ! !
Yep amazing spot man!

Great video again mate. Just love your stuff. Keep up the good work
Cheers mate
Another great video mate!! 👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Just EPIC really enjoyed that thank you go the hilux and dad's locker has really taken the mux to the next level 👍👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it mate
Another great vid mate!
Thanks again!

What a drive mate well done 👍 🏴
Great vid, time for a front locker
Another great vid mate. Keep em coming.
Thanks 👍
G'day mate
Love watching your shows Great photos and wheel lift 👍👍👍
Glad you like them!
The Nav is a weapon !
Great vid ,great footage.
Mux all day
If you've got Kai on photography duty these days you should throw some of the pics up at the end of the vids or something 👍
Yep I have in past episodes and have done in future episodes, just forgot on these Coffs ones 😬
That MUX flexes really well. I thought it wouldn't flex as much
Great trip and adventure. Love the closing montage of the Truck. Really great looking rig.
Thanks 👍
Just got home from work, breakfast, cuppa and a new vid to watch. I so wish i was out in the bush with my new bt50.
New as in the DMAX, full 🤤
Another great episode, the suspension looks to be working awesome too.
Great vid, your longer travel rear working well for you. Thanks for the fourbie fix this weekend, had planned to get out but my wife n daughter were unwell. Keep livin through your vids👍
Thanks mate, hope everyone is better soon!
Awesome stuff boys, this is like Ronny Dahl's early stuff before it got commercial. Keep it up 👍
Ronny is whack smh
Epic dude. It's insane how far you can push NP300's, definitely loving mine at the moment. Loving the vids keep it up 👍
Thanks mate!
Great video again. Those new rear shocks gives a lot of down travel which you used.
Who needs a HiLux or a LandBruiser when you have a Nav 👍🏻🇦🇺💪🏻
Ask Ronny Dahl he'll tell you why

Impressive where you & your dad take your 4wds, 👍👍👍👍 great bro , lov technical tracks

Got a front locker on my hilux the best mod period!

hey mate! what trail is this? awesome adventure!
i love your NP300 mate
Bare feet, cliff edge with water running over it? Not for this little black duck
Nice work Tyler 🤙
Cheers mate!
5:27 when the pucker factor kicked in
Looks like you need a front locker only left front spinning!
Dad definitely needs a front locker

Yep helps a lot! I haven't heard of that mate, dad has never broken a CV in his
But great video keep up the awesome clips mate
Thanks mate!
All good i am slowly building the missus up to take her out on trips like yours mate she isnt to keen on the 4wding part but loves the places we can go
What locker on your dad's car? I didn't hear any compressor sound when engaged?
Very enjoyable TT. standard 4x4 would struggle in those areas........
Went through in the misses astra smh
Great video bro. Have always loved your channel. Wish my dad would do some fun stuff with me. Keep up the great work and family fun first!
Tell him to get off his and go out with you, life's too damn short to miss those opportunities mate.
@@beanfrankednow5391 I'm with ya mate. His a stubborn old school wog lol. I love being in the bush in my 4x4 finding new tracks.

MU-X needs a front locker to compensate for 31s and terrible traction control.

Hey buddy love your videos! What difference has your new suspension set up got compared to the old? Cheers!
Thanks mate! New suspension just gives much more travel in the rear to help flex through holes and ruts etc
Have you thought of getting some hand helds mate would mate spotting a lot easier
Yeah I have some, have tried it before but generally resort back to hand signals, find it easier for me
Wow. Lionels loop looks bad now. I went through a couple of years ago in a virtually stock rodeo.
Yeah its pretty bad these days, especially after recent floods
Gday mate, i am thinking of having the Ironman foam cell pro kit put into my bt50, just wondering how you rate it
I have it installed and it’s doing great

Great video as usual Tyler. Is old mate running no sway bar in the front of the hilux?
Thanks mate, im not too sure to be honest!
Foam cell not giving you flex 💪🏻 hey??
Did you see any Kangaroos 🦘 on your Road trip :)
You guys are proving why front lockers are superior.
How so
Time to invest in some front lockers: 9:45
Without a doubt
Your shout 😁😉
The Hilux seem more capable, obviously a touchy issue as I do own a D23 latest iteration.
Except the nav was the only one that didn't winch 😬
Hilux looks like it's leaking something a couple of times around 20 mins
A bit of spade work and a bit less air in ya tyres might help guys
Tyre pressures were 15 PSI
@@TylerThompson90 They looked more than that
Great vids, keep em coming mate 👍👍

Dude in the hilux has no idea
I think as hard as you use it a front locker is a ticket to breaking CV's on the regular. I would leave it as is.
