I’m curious, was the puppet character was an inspiration for your character, aesthetic and design? , it’s just something that I have always wondered., and also are you planning to make a video about the nightmare before Christmas?🤔
Friendly recommendation: Can you talk about „the third parent“ please. It‘s main villain, Tommy taffy, has gain a lot more attention recently because he‘s becoming the next creepypasta to get his own movie since slenderman. Like to hear your thoughts on it.
You going to the Fnaf 2 movie was like when a main character has given up and lost all hope, and then has some kind of magical experience that makes them want to fight the main villain again.
A detail I see many people miss is the fact that there is an actual endoskeleton in the backroom, but the animatronics ignore it, they don't actually care about putting a costume on an empty endoskeleton they care about you, they are after you! its a very early hint that there are more to these animatronics than meets the eye.
I feel like the whole reason the endo is there in the first place in plain view is exactly because of this. Scott probably wanted people to see that something wasn't right with phone guy's excuse
The first six minutes genuinely made me tear up. Going back to something you loved that the fandom ruined for you, finding your love for it is still there. Finding how much you love it has grown. The way it has changed your life. Fuuuuck man
That speech about how not letting a few shitty people ruin something you genuinely love and have passion about hit me hard. As a teen, I thought if someone knew I liked horror games like FNAF or movies like SAW, they would see me as a weirdo, but now, I proudly wear those likes on my sleeve, and haven't looked back since. Don't be ashamed to like the things you like, and don't let toxic people bring you away from liking those things all the same.
Months ago, I shared my love for the newest TADC episode and TADC in general with colleagues. They basically called it AI slop and moved on to whatever meme they clung onto at that time. That was the moment that heavily reduced my fear of other people's opinions, because of how appalling their opinions were. I wear pins on my bag of things I like, and while I get self-conscious when I look at them, I wouldn't have it any other way.
I had a phase in my life where I would watch Game Theory's / GTLive's FNAF content but I would never admit to people I knew that I actually liked fnaf. I also really only cared about the lore and was too chicken to watch any full playthroughs. but that was when I was in high school. Now I'm an adult and I don't care what people think about me if it's just based on the information "I like fnaf"
"Did someone ACTUALLY poop on the floor?!" When it comes to signs like this? Just like for strange laws and other safety warning signs? If there's a sign for it, there's a pretty good chance that someone had done it. Meaning someone in Detroit has actually tied up their pet alligator to a fire hydrant.
@WestonMiller-t2ohonestly, I still think that could make a good "April fools theory" on some FNaF-theory channel. Like, asking WHO is the cause for each rule being put in place and why (hopefully treating it like a big, important mystery including speculative-characterization.)
@anidiot192 Well, between the missing kids, we can rule out Chica and Freddy because thwy appear in the bathroom, and Bonnie seems to be the janitor, he does appear in the supply closet so it's between Foxy and Golden Freddy, and between the two of them... it was probably Foxy. Fritz was the culprit.
I agree that Golden Freddy isn't what he used to be but back in the day there was something so novel about having this creepypasta-esque character in a game that is already scary, it raised so many questions like who is he? Why does he crash my game? Why does he show up when I enter 1987? And the more pressing one to the people who were uninitiated; does he even exist? I think your opinion on his current state does knock him down a peg or two but I think if we're just isolating the first game then I believe, personally, that Golden Freddy belongs in S tier for not only what he brought to the table in terms of more scares but for what he did to the playground conversations that would involve him. Genuinely such a novel and cool character idea who, despite how much he's been forced and injected into everything that came after, deserves a lot of praise for what he is.
None of the other animatronics really phased me that much when I was a kid, but I distinctly remember losing sleep over the thought that Golden Freddy would show up in my room. There’s something inherently wrong about him, and even Scott himself once said that Golden Freddy just happened to become a thing in the game, without really having an explanation for why. His soulless eye sockets were engrained into my brain, and to this day I still think that nothing in this series has ever come close to scaring me as much as he did. Even his later appearances in FNaF 2 and onward are just a cheap imitation in my eyes. Funnily enough, I think FNaF AR was genuinely the closest at capturing just how otherworldly he is with the ambience that plays when you encounter him. As much as I understand people’s desires to have him explained, I think it’s for the better that he’s left as this enigmatic bear suit with no real explanation behind it. He’s scary because you’ll never know just what he is.
Golden Freddy is the entire reason my friends and I think the theory of the fourth game being from the perspective of the crying child is wrong. Cassidy is an S-tier hater.
@wumpus976this is exactly why golden freddy creeps me out so much. I encountered him once in-game on night 3, and even though I knew what he was and how to get rid of him, it felt like the entire game’s vibe completely changed in that brief moment when he showed up.
"Let's see who's to blame for the crimes, gang!" *Removes mask scooby doo style* *gasp* "Toxicity!?!?" "Why must you destroy everything I love?" Being serious for a moment, I'm glad Pastra regained his hope in Fnaf - manity. Props for the amazing 3d render of the office.
I feel like FNAF is like the Pokémon of the horror genre. Maybe you dont like the new stuff, but the memories you had with it as a kid will keep you a fan for life. Also everyone has a favorite character and will defend why like no tomorrow
I love how you can hear Pastra smiling at points, and the passion in their voice. It's nice to hear that for this franchise again. Damn. You really said "Friendship with Bonnie over, Chica is my new bestie". Thank you for this video, Pastra. I'm glad you had fun making it and I look forward to the rest! 💜
I'm surprised you didn't bring up the Night 4 and 5 phone calls anywhere, because they really feel like the biggest slap in the face that something darker is going on to anyone who hasn't seen any of the easter eggs. Your predecessor, who had been at this FAR longer than you have and seemed to know *just* enough about the animatronics' behavior to keep you in the know, and suddenly he's blindsided by what sounds like everyone at once, and the roar of some vengeful beast snuffs him out. And then the next night, the receiver just spouts out gibberish that inherently feels like a threat. If he didn't stand a chance, can you even make it any further? What's stopping them from also just rushing *you* all at once? Have they just been toying with you this whole time? It's a surprisingly underrated moment for how utterly hope-crushing it is.
It's funny, my 8 year old daughter was asking me today, if I knew who Freddy was and I had explain to her I used to cosplay as Springtrap in the full suit. Good or bad, these games have a special place in my heart.
@shino49980I actually have no idea, haha! She hasn't played the games, so its mostly through Roblox she knows Freddy. I should ask her when I see her tomorrow!
I’m glad someone made a video about fnaf that wasn’t “the downfall of fnaf” or why it is what it is today but just a video reminding people why it was so special when it came out
2:50 bro, on the row in front of me, there was a group of friends with custom core four masks, i got to take a picture of them. my theatres reactions were very pronouncd, we laughed af the same bits, we gasped nearly the same, and when we got ready to leave we all pause to watch the midcredit scene and then henrys voice message. I dont think ill ever have a theatre experience like that again.
Except Toby actually had an idea as to what Gaster is and does when making him, and Gaster continued to be relevant to the plot the more the lore develops
14:25 you cannot convince me otherwise that fnaf 1 chica was the scariest. Like Bonnie may have no eyebrows but her deadpan stare… gives me the creeps to this day
her slack-jawed look is so unsettling, i think that out of every animatronic in fnaf 1 she's the one who looks the most like something reanimated but still unequivocally dead.
I feel like there's arguments for why folks find her either the silliest or the creepiest. I've grown to really like her design approach and philosophy in recent times myself!
it's peak I listened to it for 10 hours once, if you want to too just search fnaf world Halloween theme or Halloween ost 10 hours and scroll until you find it
3:15 You know for all the shit you can give the FNAF 2 Movie you gotta at least give it the credit for reigniting Pastra’s love for the franchise and giving them the opportunity to revisit his good old days on his channel where all they’ll do is yap about their favourite media franchise
As a person with autism I will always love the pure neurodivergence that your videos just OOZE with. Like absolutely yes please talk to me about FNAF I wanna hear all about it silly youtube person.
Hearing you talk about how the FNAF 2 movie resparked your love for the franchise hit so hard. I stopped caring after Ruin, not for lack of effort, but things just felt draining. Then, I saw the movie. And I couldn't stop all that love for the franchise that, no joke, was the reason I didn't lose to my depression. It got me through the hardest points of my childhood, and to have that reignited...it means so, so much to me. And I'm glad that's the case with you.
I'm not even into FNAF much, but the giddy energy with which this funny rubber-hose demon is pursuing his passion is adorable, precious, and should be supported.
One of the only positive memories I have from middle school is having FNAF on my tablet, and before school started, the people I desperately wanted to be friends with all gathered around. Breath held, we flinched at every screen- it was brand new. It was the realm of tall-tales akin to finding Mew under a truck. When the power went out I felt hands clench on my shoulders and the bench beneath us groan as they leaned in, silent as the catacombs, fingers literally crossed. I remember the mutual shouting turning into laughing when the jumpscares happened. “No, I wasn’t scared, you were!” It was a formative experience.
We have a saying where I live that goes "if there's a sign, there's a story", because these kinds of hyper specific and/or funny rules and warning signs that seem like common sense tend to be created either because common sense is less common than the name implies, or because someone thought they were very funny and went "well if it's not explicitly forbidden, then I guess it's allowed". So yes, The Floor Pooper is probably canon. But hey, that's just a theory. A SHIIIIT THEORY! Sorry for making you read this
17:26 THIS SOUND HAUNTS MY FUCKING DAY TO DAY! Like even if I'm just not even doing anything. This croaking has cemented itself into my mental soundboard of a brain!
8:45 That's way healthier than my old friend group. The original FNAF came out while I was still in school, and my friends knew I hated horror because I'm a jumpy person (turns out I have anxiety, go figure), so they made me sit at their computer and play the first night. Then they teased me because I was so scared I started crying. When I left and calmed down, I actually watched Mark's playthrough, and it helped me a lot! I *still* can't play any FNAF game without getting way too scared (hilarious since I'm nearly 30 now 😅) but I love watching people play it, and the lore has me hooked.
@Autumn_ActuallyBro, one of my "friends" literally held me down in my seat by putting his hands on my shoulders and pushing me down into my seat. He only let go when Freddy killed me because I was panicking and spamming everything, wasting power like a doofus.
@GlumpularYeah, I was. But back then, my only real experience with any video games were Sonic and Assassin's Creed. I avoided horror games because I'm terrible with jumpscares. I'm currently 27, nearly 28, and I still jolt whenever someone comes up behind me. But upside: FNAF made me realise how interesting the horror genre is, at least in terms of games. Ironic that I'm saying this on Pastra's channel, but the only "horror" games I can play without having an anxiety attack is the Bendy franchise. It might not be that scary to most people, but that shit horrified me when it first came out 😅
@robsterskellington3958 i mean maybe just to me i have been a fan of fnaf as a franchise and its characters from way younger, so i just find it too homely and nostalgic. although equally i do feel the anticipation from playing it.
I think that specifically fnaf 1 Golden Freddy was amazing, it brings me the same vibe as Herobrine, someone that you are only tolds things about but never actually get to see him. It's the perfect myth that is actually real
Yeah, especially if they’re going to do this for every game, putting them in F every time is just going to reduce variety. It would be cool if they put them in a different rank depending on their opinion by game and not overall
16:34 actually, fun fact, the droning sound that plays there is _not_ a random event, unlike how most might think. It _only_ plays if an animatronic is in the left or right hall. edit: thanks for @SamaelDerKarmaschÜtze for correcting me!
Not just Bonnie. When anyone gets too close to attacking that sound (known as Giant Hollow Tube Sector) plays until they get in, unless its Freddy in which case it *only* plays when they get in
Seeing the intro is so relatable to me. So often, even without the pressure of being a big creator, fandom can be so exhausting at the worst of times, but every once in a while, it’s nice to be reminded why these things are so meaningful to me and so many other people.
Something I notice revisiting FNAF 1 is how Phone Guy wants to "focus on getting you through your first week" and to "relax and you'll be fine" and not even a minute later he's ranting about how if you get stuffed in an animatronic suit then your face will basically explode out of the front of the mask. He's so clueless and I love it
and honestly its fascinating how similar it is to fnaf 1; confined to one cramped space, thrown into the unknown and your only point of reference to the outside world is a camera. plus there is a bonus of unrealistic (tho its suprisingly thought out and only some numbers dont make sense so lets make that semi-) science and subtle lore hints (easier to piece together than fnaf but still).
I have three favourite types of horror; Goofy horror, cosmic horror, and then this specific atmospheric horror evoked in specifically FNaF 1. Always gonna be my favourite game in the series atmospherically
5:01 you’re so passionate about it it actually brings a tear to my eye, I remember watching fnaf with my younger sister on direct tv’s RUclips extension and on our wii. Hearing someone else expressing how important the series is to them like this is so refreshing to hear. I’m excited to see your future videos on my all time favorite horror series!!!!!
Fnaf is a game that people rag on for the jumpscares, but the real kicker is the tension leading up to the jumpscare. Its still a masterclass in sound design and atmosphere despite it mostly being built on stock assets. Even the iconic theme was a royalty free track anyone can buy. The graphics were not high budget but I remember thinking the game looked so real because of the attention to detail. Fazbear's felt like a real place you could go to. I got so tense just watching it and it caused a few sleepless nights. But it's also unfortunatly responsible for 90% of the horror genre only getting massive appeal through mascot horror. While lots of other great games like Crow Country, Slay the Princess, Pocket Mirror, and Signalis get buried underneath your Bendys and Poppy Playtimes. And trash like Hello Neighbour and Banban become phenomonons that do not deserve it.
6:02 "and if you didn't well that sucks cus you don't get to choose what i make" the delivery on this was perfect lol. my first intro to your channel was the pizza simulator video, and slowly made my way thru all the fnaf videos you had. very happy to see you revisit it pastra
I almost miss how small the FNAF community initially was, where each Easter egg and secret discovered existed in an echo chamber with nobody to give you any context
37:34 I love Bonnie so much! He is my favorite purple bunny! (and yes, he is purple I will die on that hill till the day I die I don’t care what Scott says or however, many times they remake him to be blue. He is purple in Fnaf one end of discussion.)
Hearing you talk about re experiencing the love and joy you've gotten from the series made me so happy, so many people lose that or have it stolen and never get it back, and going to see the movie gave me that exact same feeling of buzzing excitement and unabashed community joy. I'm glad I wasn't the only one and I'm so glad you're doing what you love. You're an amazing creator and at your most amazing when you clearly care so much about what you're saying ❤
I gotta say that I worked the FNaF 2 movie premiere and it was so amazing to see the fans come in, all so passionate about the franchise and a lot of them in make up and costumes. It made me proud to love this series seeing all the fun and amazing people who love it as much as I do
the funny thing is, We wouldn't know Phone guys real name, Ralph, until the "The Week Before" book released, wich was almost 10 years after the first game came out
Something I really love about this channel is how much emotion and passion Pastra puts into his commentary. In a world of monotone voices, be a Pastra.
@octonine6212there’s a version of William Afton who deep fries a baby. The “excuse” by the creator of that was that it was to show how evil Afton is, but like… the games show that alone, and it was mostly shock horror for the sake of it.
Genuinly started tearing up when you where describing how it was for you seeing all the passion and energy in that theater, I’ve been a fan of the game sense I was 6years old when it came out and I’ve grown with it through out the years and every time I hear about the passion for the games makes my love for it grow even stronger thank you
The atmosphere of Fnaf 1 is just perfect. I especially love the audio design and the random visual events. It all makes it feel like the very building itself is alive and is out to get you. It's hard to describe, but the mysteriousness of the ambience and the random flashes of "It's me" reinforce the hauntedness of this place so much. They remind you that it's not just wordly threats that you're facing; there's something supernatural happening here, something you would be utterly powerless against should it decide to turn on you.
I’m so glad you’ve gotten to rediscover the joy in one of your childhood fandoms, Pastra! I had that recently in a very different way, when a friend invited me to bring back a character from one of the first TTRPGs I’d ever played in that had ended very, very badly. Getting to go be her every weekend and have my friends reaffirm that my character is interesting & my build is good has genuinely brought me to tears several times and released a lot of vitriol I didn’t realize I was still carrying almost a decade later. There’s such a strange catharsis in going back to something you have bad associations with and going “Oh, right, *that’s* why I loved it so much, *there’s* the feelings that pulled me in, before the wound was made and the poison set in. Someone else did that to me, and the poison isn’t there in the original. I can still love it. It’s okay to let myself love it.”
I remember how in Junior High I had this friend in English class who just showed me the png of Bonnie’s jumpscare from this game, and that alone somehow made me really intrigued despite it freaking me out a bit, and not too much later I saw brand new Sister Location playthroughs on my recommended, and the rest is history. This franchise was instrumental in igniting my rebellious years, because I loved this franchise so much that I kept it as a secret from my mom for years and even read the books when she told me not to. No regrets
Man, that intro was such a breath of fresh air for someone who also grew up with fnaf. I remember in elementary school meeting so many friends who were in love with the game, and they introduced me to it and I was instantly hooked. I loved drawing the characters (they were pretty bad lol) I traded drawings with my friends, I watched markipliers playthrough, I collected the plushies, I was in love with this series. As I got older I like many others kinda fell out of it, it just wasn’t scary anymore but it was cool to know every new project that was coming out. Then security breach came out and I was instantly turned off from the series. It was a joke imho, but hearing your vids revisiting our childhoods is so fun and brings me back to simpler times, thanks Pastra, keep up the great work 💯
Your story about how you were introduced to fnaf somewhat reminds me of my own introduction to a franchise that changed my life. The Kirby series. I always think of “I’m 4 years old.” “You are the youngest person ever” when talking about this story to anyone even slightly older than me but anyways. I was but a wee lad when my brother and I had watched a gameplay video of someone else playing superstar on a snes classic. And not even like 2 weeks later, my aunt I think I can’t truly remember had bought a SNES classic and gifted it to my family. Now, the gameplay video alone would’ve hooked my brother and I onto the game due to the co-op aspect. But having a way to play it when it was fresh in our young minds had us absolutely hooked. We loved it, we still love it. My little brothers birthday is coming up and I have ordered him a keychain based off of Marx, his favorite. Now as much as we played it together, we were still small, lacking in motor skills, lacking in cognitive skills, and little tricksters towards eachother. So we never really got far, we got stuck at the halberd escape sequence so we never saw the jester. That was until when I got star allies, he had absolutely loved the guy when we went into the dream palace. We had somewhat poetically found our way back to superstar, our origin and the source of some of our favorite memories together. And let’s skip forward to now, I have 2 Kirby plushes, 1 waddle Dee plush, every mainline Kirby game on the switch 1, a Kirby fangame I’m directing, composing, making art, voice acting, and writing for. Superstar & Kirby in general has always and will always hold a special place in my heart. And I know you said this was gonna be your year of fnaf and your most likely not gonna see this but a video on the hopeful horror of the Kirby franchise and how no matter what figurative or literal horrors your facing. All you really need against that is some flexibility, a positive outlook, and some friends by your side to end up the victor.
No I get it Kirby is awesome but explaining why it’s peak makes me feel like a bubble blowing baby imminently awaiting a beating by every able bodied patron in the bar
I could gush about Kirby lore and level design too! I'm also a Kirby super fan. (And it lucks out too since we've never had any kind of "controversy" except for the Suzie Robot incident. It's so much more wholesome and welcoming than a lot of other fandoms I'm a part of.)
i dont think i've ever felt this much happiness, despair, yet hope all at once in an intro before, this is gonna sound corny but i could feel the nostalgia coming back in full force. but not in a way that makes you feel sad for missing the past and feeling dreadful for the future, but the one where you can love the past even more and wish for the future to come actual godly intro, shakesphere could never compare

Like to hear your thoughts on it.
May i interest you in "fnaf kids"?
It's a song that pretty much celebrates positive fandoms.
I'm sure you are gonna love it.
GET ME OUT OF THE DIGITAL CIRCUS
To me, FNAF is the comfort food of horror
It’s not always good for you, but you never think about dropping it
I think that’s just crack
@CringyCoy no it’s not, It’s like Pringles. Once you pop, you don’t stop.
@mightyestO5 now I want fnaf themed chips
@ADDfarmboyfreddy fringles!
It's probably the only horror series I ever had any interest in
You going to the Fnaf 2 movie was like when a main character has given up and lost all hope, and then has some kind of magical experience that makes them want to fight the main villain again.
The Portal Scene and Captain Marvel blasting through Thanos' mothership type shit.
Oh my god I get it type moment
To me, it's giving more Ego from Ratatouille refinding that spark you lost from your childhood
@Nyatosu Hah, that's perfect.
his heart grew three sizes larger
i love how infectiously positive this video is. i needed this during exam week
Bagh what’s this love and positivity? No I have to be miserable 24/7 how else will be now Im not cringe.

Good luck!! :D
I have tests for the next 3 weeks ;_; so I wish us the best -w-

I never thought about that
somehow for over 11 years, everyone, even me, missed that hint. frickin HOW?????
Holy sh*t why have I never seen anyone mention that and why haven't I noticed it either
It’s actually crazy how the biggest most obvious tip off to the fact the animatronics are after YOU was in plain sight
I feel like the whole reason the endo is there in the first place in plain view is exactly because of this. Scott probably wanted people to see that something wasn't right with phone guy's excuse

Agreed.
@kitcat8862 is AI slop becoming a buzzword now?!
The intro genuinely made me tear up a little bit lol
The intro gave me shivers
Hey it’s you! I’m a big fan of you and Astral Spiff! Keep up the good work

"Did someone ACTUALLY poop on the floor?!"
When it comes to signs like this?
Just like for strange laws and other safety warning signs?
If there's a sign for it, there's a pretty good chance that someone had done it.
Meaning someone in Detroit has actually tied up their pet alligator to a fire hydrant.
Considering the place was littered with toddlers... yes, it happened. Probably more than once. The poor janitor.
@WestonMiller-t2o WIllaim Afton, seeing poop on the floor: ...that's it. I'm murderous the children.
@WestonMiller-t2ohonestly, I still think that could make a good "April fools theory" on some FNaF-theory channel. Like, asking WHO is the cause for each rule being put in place and why (hopefully treating it like a big, important mystery including speculative-characterization.)

"Why must you destroy everything I love?"
Being serious for a moment, I'm glad Pastra regained his hope in Fnaf - manity.
Props for the amazing 3d render of the office.
6:16 I’ve unironically heard longer but this might have been the most captivating long intro I’ve been blessed with hearing
Same, it actually made me tear up a bit 😢
Hearing the Jevil laugh and the fnaf world halloween music for the intro of the video sent me back it's cinema
REAL
I feel like FNAF is like the Pokémon of the horror genre. Maybe you dont like the new stuff, but the memories you had with it as a kid will keep you a fan for life. Also everyone has a favorite character and will defend why like no tomorrow
Mangle
Withered Bonnie
@babyeater300Also a good choice.
@poissonsumac7922 Fellow Mangle enjoyer 💪
@poissonsumac7922 Mangle Supremacy 🛐
THATS SO SWEET AND AMAZING
What's her favorite animatronic? ^_^
@shino49980I actually have no idea, haha! She hasn't played the games, so its mostly through Roblox she knows Freddy. I should ask her when I see her tomorrow!
That’s wonderful Mr. Afton, just make sure that you don’t leave her alone with your giant murder-clown-robot.
Fnaf fans now have kids.....I dont know how to feel about that like damn im old
I’m glad someone made a video about fnaf that wasn’t “the downfall of fnaf” or why it is what it is today but just a video reminding people why it was so special when it came out
2:50 bro, on the row in front of me, there was a group of friends with custom core four masks, i got to take a picture of them. my theatres reactions were very pronouncd, we laughed af the same bits, we gasped nearly the same, and when we got ready to leave we all pause to watch the midcredit scene and then henrys voice message. I dont think ill ever have a theatre experience like that again.
Well, there's still a Movie 3 to be released so...
39:38 Golden freddy is the Gaster of FNAF
Except Toby actually had an idea as to what Gaster is and does when making him, and Gaster continued to be relevant to the plot the more the lore develops
I feel like they'd be friends
14:25 you cannot convince me otherwise that fnaf 1 chica was the scariest. Like Bonnie may have no eyebrows but her deadpan stare… gives me the creeps to this day
She scared me the most as a kid , and I never even saw any gameplay. She just creeped me out
her slack-jawed look is so unsettling, i think that out of every animatronic in fnaf 1 she's the one who looks the most like something reanimated but still unequivocally dead.
I feel like there's arguments for why folks find her either the silliest or the creepiest. I've grown to really like her design approach and philosophy in recent times myself!
She always looked high as fuck XD
6:42 oh God we have the OG intro music we’re really going back to the old days
❤❤❤❤
Well yeah. It’s the FNAF World Halloween song.
@ZackagonXMoh I always wondered where it was from, good to know
it's peak I listened to it for 10 hours once, if you want to too just search fnaf world Halloween theme or Halloween ost 10 hours and scroll until you find it
3:15 You know for all the shit you can give the FNAF 2 Movie you gotta at least give it the credit for reigniting Pastra’s love for the franchise and giving them the opportunity to revisit his good old days on his channel where all they’ll do is yap about their favourite media franchise
Honestly it still holds up. Can SEE why the franchise blew up like it did
I’m so glad you did this for YOU. It’s always amazing when we revisit old loves and see how they hold up.
As a person with autism I will always love the pure neurodivergence that your videos just OOZE with. Like absolutely yes please talk to me about FNAF I wanna hear all about it silly youtube person.
How does it ooze neurodivergence?
@PokémaniacGuquis this is peak ND guy yapping about their favorite thing
@DashBoltBut how? Just stating that it is does not give any clarity.
@PokémaniacGuquis I am ND and I am yapping about my favorite thing
@Pastraspec I am aware of that, but how does that show in the writing? I still do not understand.
"Did someone actually poop on the floor?" Golden Freddy: "it's me"
This… is cinema.
2:20 holy crap pastra can move
*he's evolving RUN*
Hearing you talk about how the FNAF 2 movie resparked your love for the franchise hit so hard. I stopped caring after Ruin, not for lack of effort, but things just felt draining. Then, I saw the movie. And I couldn't stop all that love for the franchise that, no joke, was the reason I didn't lose to my depression. It got me through the hardest points of my childhood, and to have that reignited...it means so, so much to me. And I'm glad that's the case with you.
I had so much FUN seeing Fnaf2. Like. That was a great time and reminded me of so much I like about the series.
6:25 you can hear him tearing up, I love that, it shows that he's speaki from his heart
A Fnaf upload after all this time, thank you, Pastra.
My god they're alive
I’m alive next to normal reference
Immortalized
Me when I’m working a night shift at some rundown animatronic restaurant and those animatronics start moving:
Afton after stuffing the suits
You're the creator
23:41 Wait, yeah, *did* someone poop on the floor!?
Damn, you were living FNAF4 before it even released...
were you like 16? I get fnaf scary but dayumm
0:48 the cat face 😭
Omg, I didn't even see it. Thank you for the timestamp!!
@ssft12056 ofc :3
When anyone gets too close to attacking that sound (known as Giant Hollow Tube Sector) plays until they get in, unless its Freddy in which case it *only* plays when they get in
@SamaelDerKarmaschütze thanks for the correction! will edit it now
@XenonDem someone actually did a pretty in-depth video on it, which I can send if you would like. Its an interesting watch imo
12:13 HE HAS A NAME?!
Where and how was this discovered, I gotta know
@Mariorox1956I think it was in the Fnaf novel “One Week Before”. I’ve never read it though.
@RascalVirus13 "A week before" yeah, it's written from phone guy's pov and in the beginning we learn his name is Ralph
Seeing the intro is so relatable to me. So often, even without the pressure of being a big creator, fandom can be so exhausting at the worst of times, but every once in a while, it’s nice to be reminded why these things are so meaningful to me and so many other people.
i love your videos, here you go
Reais?
@IrregularityRowan

@IrregularityRowan

40:24 only jumpscare in the hole video
Something I notice revisiting FNAF 1 is how Phone Guy wants to "focus on getting you through your first week" and to "relax and you'll be fine" and not even a minute later he's ranting about how if you get stuffed in an animatronic suit then your face will basically explode out of the front of the mask.
He's so clueless and I love it
1:42 Ohranger jumpscare
7:55 Hey wait a minute, didn’t that guy direct a movie recently?
Yes, indeed. The movie is called Iron Lung btw
Ya he made the fnaf musical
and honestly its fascinating how similar it is to fnaf 1; confined to one cramped space, thrown into the unknown and your only point of reference to the outside world is a camera. plus there is a bonus of unrealistic (tho its suprisingly thought out and only some numbers dont make sense so lets make that semi-) science and subtle lore hints (easier to piece together than fnaf but still).
Yeah the guy that says the 1st night is never usually that bad in any of the games so he'll playthrou- *dies*
22:25 I was actually so immersed that it startled me a lil when you dropped the act and raised your voice.
I have three favourite types of horror; Goofy horror, cosmic horror, and then this specific atmospheric horror evoked in specifically FNaF 1. Always gonna be my favourite game in the series atmospherically
WE'RE SO BACK! THE FNAF TISM TINGLE GOT REVIVED! LETS GOOOOOOOO! (yes im very excited)
You know he loves Fnaf when his design of Bonnie hasn’t changed in years. Simply peak character design
4:47 say that again
Is there a dlc to go with that ruin
that again
I know you will probably never see this but I am LOVING the new editing style
loving the super sentai gifs
6:45 REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD
absolute peak reference
So real. I watched it in my local theatre and it was literally just people going "or or or or". Best movie experience since chicken jockey.
fnaf 3 is gonna be bigger than endgame
And trash like Hello Neighbour and Banban become phenomonons that do not deserve it.
seeing clyde holding a gun a while after i drew them holding a gun is just so cool
Bro has forsight, jokes aside that's cool
18:33 "but here is the thing"
- pastra, with that mf thang on em
6:02 "and if you didn't well that sucks cus you don't get to choose what i make"
the delivery on this was perfect lol.
my first intro to your channel was the pizza simulator video, and slowly made my way thru all the fnaf videos you had. very happy to see you revisit it pastra
noodle man u are my goat never let ur light flicker
I almost miss how small the FNAF community initially was, where each Easter egg and secret discovered existed in an echo chamber with nobody to give you any context
37:34 I love Bonnie so much! He is my favorite purple bunny! (and yes, he is purple I will die on that hill till the day I die I don’t care what Scott says or however, many times they remake him to be blue. He is purple in Fnaf one end of discussion.)
Agreed!
trueeee
Hearing you talk about re experiencing the love and joy you've gotten from the series made me so happy, so many people lose that or have it stolen and never get it back, and going to see the movie gave me that exact same feeling of buzzing excitement and unabashed community joy. I'm glad I wasn't the only one and I'm so glad you're doing what you love. You're an amazing creator and at your most amazing when you clearly care so much about what you're saying ❤
Fnaf 1 is a excellent example of "show don't tell."
14:14 Bonnie will not forget this betrayal Pastra
5:18 “I’ll give those toxic people through the power of friendship and this gun I found”
11:49 "I can hear you....breathing"
I gotta say that I worked the FNaF 2 movie premiere and it was so amazing to see the fans come in, all so passionate about the franchise and a lot of them in make up and costumes. It made me proud to love this series seeing all the fun and amazing people who love it as much as I do
"So with the longest RUclips video you have ever heard finished," THAT WAS THE INTRO?! I THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS SOME SMALL TED TALK!
I saw the title and thought for a moment I had completely missed like, 7 numbered entries that fnaf had done, lol.
the funny thing is, We wouldn't know Phone guys real name, Ralph, until the "The Week Before" book released, wich was almost 10 years after the first game came out
I don’t care what any fnaf book says his name isn’t fucking Ralph it’s Phone Guy
Also annoying it took that long but better late than never
I like the sporadic bits of comedy suddenly appear with no warning, like the nerd finger point emoji or the plush pastra getting dragged away
“Foxy cares not where the camera is pointed- only that it is on,”
-Codex Pirata of the Adeptus Vulpis
Something I really love about this channel is how much emotion and passion Pastra puts into his commentary. In a world of monotone voices, be a Pastra.
FNAF 1 ambience truly hits different
William is a child serial killer, but sometimes people ignore that or make him worse ( like the baby in the fryer incident)
the what incident?? 😰
@octonine6212there’s a version of William Afton who deep fries a baby.
The “excuse” by the creator of that was that it was to show how evil Afton is, but like… the games show that alone, and it was mostly shock horror for the sake of it.
@octonine6212 HE ATE THEM because HE IS SO HUNGRY
@FrostGlader William afton: ughhh im so hungry
Baby: how hungy?
@FrostGlader oh 🤢
2:34 so you’re saying it’s like some kind of “magical place for kids and grownups alike?”
i always liked you for making videos about things you were passionate about instead of focusing on the negatives of something you love
WE ARE SOOOOO BACK!!!
8:00 Wait, what?! The person who made the Iron Lung movie used to do let’s plays?
Yes
Fnaf 11 was always a very controversial game. I'm glad you have it a second chance
Genuinly started tearing up when you where describing how it was for you seeing all the passion and energy in that theater, I’ve been a fan of the game sense I was 6years old when it came out and I’ve grown with it through out the years and every time I hear about the passion for the games makes my love for it grow even stronger thank you
Hearing a man THIS happy about fnaf brings the dumbest smile to my face. Welcome back Pastra ;)
Why does every video pastra make feel like a Halloween special
No regrets
Good for you man
I did miss that music
Man, that intro was such a breath of fresh air for someone who also grew up with fnaf.
I remember in elementary school meeting so many friends who were in love with the game, and they introduced me to it and I was instantly hooked. I loved drawing the characters (they were pretty bad lol) I traded drawings with my friends, I watched markipliers playthrough, I collected the plushies, I was in love with this series. As I got older I like many others kinda fell out of it, it just wasn’t scary anymore but it was cool to know every new project that was coming out. Then security breach came out and I was instantly turned off from the series. It was a joke imho, but hearing your vids revisiting our childhoods is so fun and brings me back to simpler times, thanks Pastra, keep up the great work 💯
Aint that the little videos game with them creepy doll
i'm nightmare freddy and i'm in yo head
i'm nightmare freddy and i'm in yo bed
I’m Nightmare Freddy and I’m in yo bed
Pastra I've just got to say I love your art, it's so unique and it's genuinely uncanny
5:17 HE HAS A GUN NOW, it was so out of the blue and well placed that it made me burst in laughter
8:27 I had a similar experience with matpat's first fnaf video of all things
Fuck yeah. We’re so back.
Holy yappatron 5000 why did I pour everything I had in this one comment
No I get it Kirby is awesome but explaining why it’s peak makes me feel like a bubble blowing baby imminently awaiting a beating by every able bodied patron in the bar
I could gush about Kirby lore and level design too! I'm also a Kirby super fan. (And it lucks out too since we've never had any kind of "controversy" except for the Suzie Robot incident. It's so much more wholesome and welcoming than a lot of other fandoms I'm a part of.)
10:16 "You could not fight back."
*Meanwhile, Gregory exists*
i dont think i've ever felt this much happiness, despair, yet hope all at once in an intro before, this is gonna sound corny but i could feel the nostalgia coming back in full force. but not in a way that makes you feel sad for missing the past and feeling dreadful for the future, but the one where you can love the past even more and wish for the future to come
actual godly intro, shakesphere could never compare
