I was a traveler for a few months but I would like to start traveling again. It's a good thing that you are talking about your mixed feelings about Workaway. I think that many people find lack of hygine normal on such farms and it's not ok.
I am so happy hearing that! Yes, workaway/wwoof was an experience I wouldn't do again. The living conditions there were not acceptable and healthy. It's really important to be very critical when it comes to finding a farm. And even more important to leave, when you don't feel save.
