Hi guys. Thanks for the work that has been done with the brand. And many cheers for the development stil to come. You keep on improving the products, as the whole community of Electric Sk8 is growing. My favorite EVOLVE episode is The "very special episode" about John and the AMAZING customized board you designed for him. He deserved it. EVOLVE proved to be not only an entertaining brand. It's also a community of great values in favor of everyday mobility. Hope you keep on enjoying. Cheers from France - send me any products and I ll promote them around. PEACE.
Sweet wheels, very nice. Just when you think Evolve have covered every accessory they give you more options even if it's not their in house brand. They have a wheel for so many types of Eskaters needs. I've been wrangling with either buying a 3rd gen boosted or an evolve. It has to be an evolve now knowing that they cover so many angles in the Eskate world. Great boards, accessories, customisation, events, worldwide distributors with service centres and even a growing community. What else do you need?
Thanks Keelo! Will be great to have you in the community. Setting up your Evolve board the way you want is an important and awesome part about owning one of our boards. Wheels selection gives you the feel you are after and the accessories help make it your own. Check out some of the other customization videos to see some of the options, although it sounds like you already might have :-)
When will evolve have native support for the 125mm Gummies? Having used the 83mm and AT setup on my GTC for me it's been the perfect middle point (despite the lack of a perfect gear ratio)
For these roll tests, if you keep the same gears and just change the wheel diameter, you end up with the smaller wheel rotating the motor more than the larger one. I suspect that the additional drag from this might be a more important factor then the diameter and in some cases compound. Do you plan to do any tests with same wheel but different gears to see the impact?
Hey Carlos. Yep, additional drag from the motor will always be a factor when testing roll and we will def do some tests with the different gears to see how they affect roll too.
Merci Evolve.
sharp lips arent because it would catch... sharp lips are for more grip... the rounded edges are to make breaking traction when sliding easier/smoother since the wheel is so large.
Hello Evolve, looking for recommended wheels to replace street 97mm stoneground wheels that came with my GTX. I have AT wheels on now since the rough asphalt tore my street wheels up. Maybe a harder street wheel?
Nope, but i saw your instagram and those aren't hydro dipped;) instagram.com/p/BkzzenjB7sz/?taken-by=evolveskateboards So now that the world knows your little white lies, please sell them to us.
When I bought these Caguama Wheels from amazon, I have to take off the gear pulley from my old wheels to put into these. Takes time to get it aligned. I did notice a tiny bit decrease in brake performance, my belts run loose quicker than usual, you really have to baby this thing on braking.
@@evolveSkateboards No, I'm not. Google "40T 15MM KEGEL DRIVE WHEEL PULLEY ONLY" just like that and see the product im talking about. I want to buy there 110mm wheels but I need to also buy a pully. Some you screw to the wheel and some you dont
I know you guys are going to be doing something here in San Diego and I have something for you San Diego has a lifeguard road that goes down to the beach at Black's Beach this road is only allowed to be walked or skateboard and bicycled or lifeguard trucks it's steeper than s***!!! you can check it out on RUclips longboard videos. Anyway the electric skateboard with the most muscle is the one that can go UP that hill.... I can't afford your damn thing sorry especially cuz I need to leave it on the beach while I SURF and my little dome tent which most likely will never get ripped off but if it did 1500 bucks or two thousand bucks would be a big ouch enough said on that anyway I still think you guys have a great product
A caguama here in Mexico it's a liter size bottle of beer XD
Si..es un 40oz

Love the informative video!
Thanks evolve
They look Funky as! would look good on some of the custom boards out there!
Great video and humor guys. Thanks for taking the time to create it and explain the differences.

The 97mm wheels will probably be better to carve with as they're 76a in durometer and eat any and all terrain
For eboarding, I prefer caguama, but for downhill, I preffer the blue kegel (77a)
Tell me what you think of these vs the 97mm wheel of your own :)
Also, are you planning on stocking the dad bods of orangatang? ;)
The one thing i care about: top speed
Why no top speed test?
Otherwise nice test vid.
Larger wheels have a higher top speed, smaller ones accelerate faster
Hi, for street configuration. I use the 97mm from evolve with my GTC. Are the 85mm 77a (blue) Caguamas maybe better for a softer ride?
what remote setting do you use for these as there is no 85mm wheel options in the wheel settings on the remote
We use the 83mm 32t/38t!
sharp lips arent because it would catch... sharp lips are for more grip... the rounded edges are to make breaking traction when sliding easier/smoother since the wheel is so large.
can I use them on my loaded dervish??
Hello Evolve, looking for recommended wheels to replace street 97mm stoneground wheels that came with my GTX. I have AT wheels on now since the rough asphalt tore my street wheels up. Maybe a harder street wheel?
Have you tried the Evolve F1 107s? Great wheel if you like the street feel and are dealing with rough surfaces.
The internet tells me you got some white evolve 97 in the making, when will you release them for sale worldwide?
White wheels you say? Did you see the hydro dipping episode a few weeks back? :-)
Nope, but i saw your instagram and those aren't hydro dipped;) instagram.com/p/BkzzenjB7sz/?taken-by=evolveskateboards So now that the world knows your little white lies, please sell them to us.
what type of pulleys do i need for the Orangatang Caguama ?
kegel

Hi Run, please contact your local Evolve Service Department directly for info and assistance. Thank you!
Every time I put on street wheels, all I can see are the spots I could be riding with AT lol :)
Haha yeah the ATs make it happen. So. Much. Fun.
Why do some people screw covers to the outside of the wheels but you dont here?
You may be thinking of hub motors? These are normal longboard wheels so no covers needed.

More Caguama details here: ruclips.net/video/pnqZVpHd-IU/видео.html
caguamas taking longer to stop is very easy to understand. bigger wheel = more mass = more momentum

EVOLVE, YOU HAVE A BATTERY SAG PROBLEM!!!! and you give us NEW WHEELS???
Hey evolve can I please have a carbon gt thanks 😀
Sure. Just go to evolveskateboards.com, find your closest distributor and you can buy one from there 😛
Out played.
Max Fitz Lmao
Can someone explain why anyone would want anything other than the AT setup?
Patrick Bateman speed. Range.
Motors are too easy to stand on if you like walking up and down the board.

Hello Sirs,
Please can me have carbone gtx please. Thank
From Thom
Thomas Wilcox A Carbon GTX? Better to go w/ a Bamboo Carbon GTX GT, more flex & more carbon for high speeds & flex. 😉
I think you should go with the carboon panda food = flex and go quicker
Guys can you plz send me a board for review. Obviously I cannot afford it yet so getting it as a review gift definitely helps.
You Know Who get a jooooooob
