- This commercial shows all the different people who enjoy and drive Minis. First is a sort of lumberjack-looking guy (they have those in Australia?) followed by a young flower girl going to a wedding and a very well-to-do older woman who has her chauffeur follow her as she drives so he can open her door when they arrive. This cheeky ad is quintessentially Mini.

It's perfectly understandable that the scantily clad young lady likes it going up and down.
It's an Aussie ad! Those accents, those beaches... and the coin with the kangaroo on it!
That is incredible handling and she does like it when it goes "up and down".
I saw one here in America at car show I wanted to hug it
They all speak like the queen, especially the girl
You're right! Our bad. Fixed!

The chap at the end is Brian Henderson - longest serving TV newsreader in Australia (Channel Nine.) He was also the host of _Bandstand_ around the time of this ad.
Thought that was him.
Wow! Have you any details of the date of this commercial and who composed the music?
What year is this commercial?
Some time between 1964 and 1967, I believe
It mentions Hopkirk who won the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964 and Timo Makinen who won in '65. It does not mention the team who won in a mini in 1967. I'm certain this ad will be 1965/6 and the music is by John Barry but I have, as yet, no confirmation of this. If I knew the advertising agency I could contact them.
This model was released in March, 1965.
