You guys bashed the Glenfarclas 25 for being pricey at $180 and this one is $500. The old OP21 sold for about $150-175 and the new OP 25 triples the price for 4 years....come on something is not right. Not saying it does not taste good, but this is a huge cash grab by OP IMHO. Granted it is not Dalmore charging over $1000 for a 25 but they raised their price from the 2017 version over $117 by just changing the label.. OP used to be good whisky at reasonable prices.... disappointed to say the least.
Glenfarclas has very descent and good prices overhere in The Netherlands, for instance, the 18 year old in a 1 liter bottle is around 50 euro's, in my eyes that's a real bargain!
I like the new rockin’ intro! I really liked the OP 25 when I tasted it at the distillery but the price is C R A Z Y !!!!! The 15 has the best quality/price ratio.
To give you an example………...for the money that this Old Pulteney is sold by you overthere I bought myself last year a North British Signatory Vintage1959 of 51 years old at 55.6% ABV, limited edition of only 289 bottles…………...btw, the 25 Old Pulteney is 399 euro's overhere in The Netherlands...…...but take a guess if I regret buying the North British instead of the Old Pulteney 25???!!...……..the thumb is up btw and the bottoms up as well!!
???? 3.5 and y'all seem to be looking for something? I get a feeling this one ain't quite awesome! I wouldn't buy this one based on your review! Again 3.5 ????

No, the 17 does. But the 21 is the best of all of them. I just had the 35 and it was good but not worth it when compared to the 17 and 21
A 25 YO for $600 and they’re using tired old wood? Goodbye Old Pulteney
Wow now I really want to open my OP-21!! It sounds li8e a incredible whisky 🥃
It is Trooper, but if it's not open yet hold off. Wait for a special moment or special friends and time to enjoy it as it's quickly fading away! ~Mark
Scotch 4 Dummies you probably right mark ! I Only have a couple of friends locally that appreciate a fine scotch!! I’ll wait. Thanks.
For $500 I don’t just want a well done whiskey, I want to be blown away. This sounds like a hard pass for me.
Thought this 25 was outstanding. Price tag has got me on the sideline, but what a great pour!
Another great review from Whiskies Fab Four! :-)
The 17 has Oloroso sherry and the 21 is finished in Fino sherry
Great review. Have a bottle of the OP 25y and Vintage 1983 (33y) underway.
These are the kind of reviews that make me jealous.
sounds great! way out of my league to get tho. its a shame i think i would really enjoy this one.

Solid review! This sounds very nice.
I thought the 21 had more sherry than the 17 in the old bottlings. You still can find some 21 out there. Great price!
What do you think of 35yo, thks

Wheeeeeewww nice. Im going to try and aquire a bottle but i refuse to go online because that kills the fun of the hunt

*Skol Vikings!*
I think the 17 and 21 both had Sherry maturation.

I think the toughest part is the price point...and being in such love with the 21.....this IS a good whisky, there's no denying that! ~Mark
Hmmm nice 👍 review. do u agree with the Whisky in the 6 and Sippers Social Club Old Pulteney rundown.... check it out.
Haven't had time to check it out, but now you've got me curious!!! ~Mark
Nah that's just stupid...
