I was shocked to learn that Aaron and Finn had a past together or rather an ONS, needless to say I wanted to see haha. I dunno, I don't think that Finn and Aaron would have worked anyway. Aaron needs someone that challenges him, that has a darker side to him, and that is as damaged as he is. Unfortunately, that wasn't Finn. Finn is sweet and all but he just doesn't fit with Aaron, esp when he tends to get desperate. Aaron definitely meets his soulmate later on, which I won't say who it is because: SPOILERS but that person fits him perfectly. I know that most people have probably seen this already and know how I'm talking about since these episodes are old :) but I'll keep quiet.
I am not sure about the soul mate bit, it is a soap and everyone eventually cheats on everyone - a year or two ago I would never had Zack and Lisa splitting up for example or the actress who played Katie was actually chosen by Andy as he was told to pick someone to play his love of his life and they went south . They are good together for now but so was Jackson and Aaron and Jackson had no darkside so I just see someone who once in love falls hard and is loyal that is (Aaron that is)-really soul mates don't exist on this show
The only good ending really is if the actors do decide to leave, the character's they play are not killed off. That's the greatest consolation in any soap.
3:34 OMG. Danny Miller's bone structure is to die for. On to the topic, if Finn weren't created to be as the cliched village gay campy bloke, then he and Aaron would've had a chance at this. The thing about Aaron and his exes (Jackson, Ed, including Robert), he prefers a man who can protect him as much as he can pound to dust those who would hurt his lover. Aaron has always stated that people around him has always left him, and given his character profile... he requires a sense of security, that no matter what the situation or condition holds, he's loved and chosen for who he is, which I don't think Finn suited that description. If a group of muggers were to appear in front of Aaron and Finn, Aaron would've chosen to try and hustle a fight and tell Finn to run... which I think Finn would just inevitably run to a safe distance and call 911, instead of trying to fight alongside Aaron (which Jackson would do), or manipulate the situation to their advantage (as what Robert does). I think he's better off with Ross. Hahahaha.

Personally if I was writing the story I would have had: Ross leave, and return in time for the Christmas Special. He would pretend that everything is fine until he finds Aaron alone, at night. Finn who still isn't over him, goes to see Aaron whilst he is in the "Christmas Spirit." Ross attacks Aaron, who is stopped by Finn with a blunt object. The hit kills Ross, and they hide the body claiming he must have decided to have gone back to America. Whilst struggling with killing his brother, Finn shows his true emotions to Aaron, who sees a different side of him. Whilst helping Finn cope end up starting a relationship together. Just a thought.

I.e. know how the other feels about what they did. Also if Finn tries to kill himself with grief, Aaron can remember what he tried to do before and that might be what changes, because he sees the scared side that he used to have and that's what brings his feelings out. The thought of losing Finn.
Great storyline with Aaron&Finn killing Ross(yet he left anyway but could be back) but that means Aaron would be on the run again & my heart can't handle that. How about this: Aaron feelings for Adam get out of control & Adam knows about it(somehow). He confronts Aaron both argue then fall out. Finn being the good hearted he's tries to help Aaron & bring them together which at the same time makes him get closer to Aaron. Aaron sees the truth at lat that his love for Adam is one sided & worthless figuring that Finn is who he really needs.
I don't know how likely it would be that Finn would kill his own brother, a brother that does love Finn very much and who Finn loves as well, for Aaron! I mean I would love for Finn and Aaron to fall in love, and I don't really like Ross, but I don't know if that storyline is very plausible, at least not Finn killing Ross to protect Aaron, maybe Finn killing someone else but not his brother! Though I don't want Finn to have to deal with killing anyone! Maybe the whole huge storyline is a good one instead of the bad one everyone keeps predicting! Call me a hopeful optimist!

If you lot have read interviews with Kate Oates, the series producer for Emmerdale, you will know where the Finn/Aaron storyline will go.
