Thank you so much for the show. I ate it while I was young . It doesn’t look as difficult I thought. You look the same as 8 years ago as well. Cheeses!
Love this, I was just researching how to work with dried shrimp for my Wonton broth and am adding side this to the rotation. Simple but I imagine very tasty. I love Napa and cant wait to try this.
I was looking for another recipe with dried shrimp and found your page. Very nice channel! I love cooking videos that get right to it and you have a pleasant voice. Thank you for the the post, I will try this today!
wish there was a way to email you on your website ..... since cabbage has so much water in it can I salt the cabbage for 10-20 minutes prior to get out some of the water or will it ruin the recipe? also I would love it if you could take American-Chinese foods from places like Panda Express and make them a Chinese Healthy Cooking recipe...I've read on some of your videos how people are losing some weight by eating your gorgeous food and would love it if some of the Americanized Chinese foods we find in restaurants could be made healthier...just a request if it's possible...Blessings my dear
My email is Chinesehealthycooking@gmail.com. For this dish, I would not salt the cabbage. I made some of the classic Chinese takeouts like Chicken Chow Mein, Shrimp with broccoli, and Moo shu chicken. You may search my recipes like this “ chicken chow mein Chinesehealthycook”. Please let me know if it helps. Thanks!
I tried to make this for dinner, sadly for my mouth my only wok got rusted as I have been avoiding cooking oil, so it's just brown rice, Napa cabbage, and Taiwanese dried shrimp, boiled with white onion, with no seasoning. "Blech." (Just so you know, I am not a president's relative, coincidence about my name.)
I❤ Chinese cooking food it's so healthy.

Why do you add cornstarch to the cabbage? Are the taste similar to regular cabbage?
+Sheryl Carter Adding the cornstarch slurp binds the flavor to it. Napa cabbage is softer and tastes different. Thanks
Thanks
How did you make the starch water?
Alicia Yen the slurry is made of starch and cold water. Thanks!
If you don’t know, don’t Bother!
