I have 4 ASICS in my Crypto Mining shed. I couldn’t imagine putting them inside my house. The battle with the noise and heat would be intense! Great video!
We have to harness all that heat all this energy and work has been done now pipe that in the greenhouse on top of the cabin. Do solar powered do it wind powered.
Awesome video. I'm looking at grabbing either an L7 or the new Jasminer. I heard Jasminer will be releasing a scrypt miner in the near future, so would love to pick that up.
So someone who spoke to Jasminer at the recent Mining Disrupt expo told me they said their rumoured Scrypt miner is actually just a bit of software. So I'm not sure it'll be very interesting unfortunately. But we know nothing for sure yet.
Well it is currently profitable if you pay less than 8 cents per kWh (electricity price). Bitcoin has a halving coming up in less than a year, which means rewards will then be cut in half. Network hashrate would then need to shrink to half its size (not likely) or bitcoins coin price double for it to become profitable again. I think it's a good miner if you have very cheap power and are going to hold all the mined coins, if you believe bitcoins price will go up a lot in the future and sell your coins then, and if you can afford to pay for the electricity.
My garage is brutally hot in the summer. Is it enough to pipe the hot ASIC air out of the house, or should the garage be A/C cooled as well? What about humidity? Is that also a problem?
I'm about to get an S19 PRO 110th at 1.000eu but the noise issue is keeping me to confirm the purchase. I'll sort the power consumption with my electrician and I'm ready to pay for the total consumption. Then I will be happy to have my house heat up by the heat generated by the machine. Damn can't really make my mind...
You could low-power for less noise. I've found the Goldshells on low power (LT Lite and LT6) are profitable and actually quiet on low power mode for home mining.
Hey Sebs I have pre-ordered the jasminer-x16q too but the factory intends to delay the delivery date because many Asic in the market have increased hash rate and they have to redesign jasminer x16-q. so the delivery time is delayed😢
True. I have a video about how to lower your energy prices: ruclips.net/video/q-cpuBWjip0/видео.html At least some of those tricks should work for you :) Good luck!
3000w X 4.1 btu/watt is over 12,000 btus so your looking at a big ass window ac unit. But don’t cool with air conditioning lol. Just an idea of how much heat an asic puts out

There is one run by other RUclipsrs called Terra Hosting, since they are public figures I think that brings a lot of credibility and accountability. Their website is: terrahosting.io/

I got new ways generating without ASIC mining but keep learning from SEB but I share something called RENDER that uses GPU look into it
A project I would like to complete is to run 2 Bitmain ASICS in an Octominer submersion tank supported by solar. Efficient, quiet and profitable 💰👍
I am new to this. Thank you for making this. It was hard to find videos like this.

This was an incredibly detailed and helpful video, the thoroughness of your work never ceases to impress. Excellent work, sir.
I’m glad you liked it :) Hopefully it helps people
I just picked up 2 S19 95 th/s for 1600 bucks.

You can learn so much watching Seb. Great video Sir!!

L9 coming tho? @@SebsFinTechChannel
Great video .... where would you suggest for a hosted solution?
Seb what about the S19 90th? What is your opinion on that machine for the long-haul?

very helpful thank you!
Have you also been narrating air crashes on RUclips as a pilot too?
Can you run asics with only 2 of the hash boards instead of 3. Like for say if someone had power restrictions.
Yes this works for most ASICs
Hello seb, i don't find styrofoam guide tutorial on your channel, please give alink
Sure it’s here: ruclips.net/video/jHJmTcA7pLs/видео.html

From what I heard speaking with them they are shipping out this month. I've not heard anything recent about delays.
@@SebsFinTechChannel yes they said it will ship a bit late this month. Hope it will on time
Yeah, the only thing thats a bit harder to solve is the energy prices still being high in Europe for home use

Haha exactly! Much better to just pipe out the hot air from the ASIC than to fight the heat with an AC unit 😆
epic indeed

You should probably talk to a certified electrician and have him figure out what you need and help you install everything.
I did with $37 (whatsminer M20s)
