Fun interaction card with Rin and Seri: Mirror Entity. It's a Changeling, so when you cast it, it will be both a dog and a cat, so you get both a dog and a cat token. On top of that, you can pay X mana to turn all your creatures into X/X in size. Cheap, brings value, and can end games.
@cry0fth3carr0ts I've got crib swap in my Reaper King deck, changeling instant speed removal is so much scarier when you can copy the spell then destroy permanents for a total of 4 individual removals 😂

Nactal warpride is a must for the deck especially with the card giving all your creatures menece, when you attack with it you gain a token copy of it for each creature the defending player controls, sure it won't make any dogs and the tokens are exiled at end of turn but it give you a bunch of life when you activate your commanders ability, plus it will get more creatures through on attack most likely
Awesome list of creatures to add to this deck. I planned to make a artifact enchantment destruction deck and this commander is exactly what I thought of when I first saw it in the core set. Love the cat dog theme as well. My deck shall be called “it’s raining cats and dogs splitter splatter deck” already aura shards is an awesome choice along with the creature you named that gives naturalizes for each cat entering
Love your decklist I built it as a combat heavy deck too bedlam was a really cool choice and never thought of the ajani that gives vigilance might have to add it in thanks for the advice keep up the heat work 👍
Visiting this video 3 years later, I can't help but wonder.... You play Praetor's Council, then on the following turn you cast the new Ghalta that puts all creatures from your hand into play. If you have a haste enabler, you just win on the spot. Worth trying?
Hmm how about some Changelings? Casting them triggers both a cat and a dog - there's a few 1 mana 1/1s that'll trigger both the cat and dog trigger.. 1 mana for 3/3 worth of stats is pretty good. Also Impact Tremors/Purphoros type effects seem great too, Skullclamp for obv reasons.. maybe untappers could be good.. Illusionist's Bracers seems excellent, you copy the activated ability on the commander to double up the damage. I'm thinking Song of Freyalise could be good - go wide and then you can use them to generate mana, and at the end you get +1/+1 counters and combat abilities for the turn
@@JakeandJoelareMagic I came across Song of Freyalise when I was thinking of ideas of how to make a deck with the enhanced evolution deck - mostly whether I went with heavy mana strategies w/ Zaxara or evasive weenies with Cazur
I got king ceaser non foil ancient guardian and void beckoner foil non special and a promo foil plainswalker stamp happy ever after in mail for very very cheap
After building my cat dog deck I ended up replacing nearly all my dogs with Changeling creatures. Also any instant or sorcery spells with changeling. Maskwood Nexus artifact is pretty broken for this kind of deck also
Other mechanic I incorporated are populate and untap spells that allow me to activate Rin and Seri multiple times. I’ll be adding a lithoform engine soon
@@greenneck5396 definitely does. I was upset with the quality of the deck so I had to somewhat abandon the theme just because it wasn’t very good. I’ve given up on that deck being strong. Just a silly cat dog deck now. It was a huge disappointment lol
There are already so many good cats it was nearly impossible for me to wittle down just to make my cat's deck using the pre-con as a base. How the hell am I supposed to make a cats and dogs deck that's less than 200 cards?
Yeah, Changelings aren't something I normally include with a tribal deck but I've gotten lots of comments - they're super powerful in this deck. Might do a follow up.

I don't normally do full lists for these videos - they're supposed to provide inspiration for the multitude of strategies - I pinned the list of cards from this video in the comments - you could copy/paste that as a starting place. Add some ramp, some card draw, and some cards you just love in the colors and you should be good to go!
How do the 2 of you feel about the murder of George Floyd and the state we are in as a country when it comes to race and specifically the treatment of black people? I haven't heard you guys talk about it (granted I also haven't looked very hard) but I wanted to get your opinions and understand who I'm supporting here on RUclips outside of the great magic content y'all produce. Dope video. I think these guys are cool and now give players more options in deck building for those tribes.
We stand in solidarity with Black people and their struggles against systemic violence. We fight for a world where everyone is created equal and given an opportunity to live, without fear of being persecuted for their skin color. Mostly this comes from needing a lot of reform in our current police departments. We will never understand the struggle of being Black, but we can listen. We have been a little more vocal about this on IG and Twitter. Thanks for asking.
