- On June 9th, 2022, a Hinsdale police officer was serving an arrest warrant for domestic violence against her ex-husband. Shawn Mullarkey was arrested after a bit of a struggle with police officers.
She was charged with aggravated DUI (third violation with mandatory jail time), aggravated assault, and resisting.
A week later additional charges were filed against her for endangering the health or life of a child, violation of a bail bond, and resisting.

The fact that she ran over their damn dad in front of them, had a warrant for DV, tells you she was terrorizing 'her' family and more than likely the kids got removed from the dad as well. From experience CPS doesn't care about nuances and blames the non abusive partner for not leaving sooner. I hope the entire family is doing better now for the kids sake, although keeping the mom out is probably the best.

Well, despite the fact that she's a violent drunk and allegedly tried to run her ex-husband over, it's just possible that he's even worse. Who knows, these days? Maybe the kids would be best in a foster home.
Yea if you watch court footage of child custody or child support battles they usually always give the wife better treatment. They'll give the wife all the time in the world to say her side of the story but then the husband gets almost nothing and his side of the story is taken with a grain of salt
The courts have always protected the woman in divorce cases. As long as she doesn't abandoned or abuse them, the woman will always win the divorce/child support case.
Did she harm her children? Police should be ashamed of taking her in custody with the kids present!

Well she did bite the cop and cause and injury to the officer and that is already considered resisting arrest and being non-compliant with the officer in the area.

It really depends on the judge here. In recent years people have become more aware of that problem. In my state (NY) judges have begun taking fathers into consideration more than they have in the past.

I’m so glad for police officers (and the public obviously) to have body cams. The level of protection it offers them is incredible.
Funny because so many activist organizations demanded the cameras thinking it would be so damning to cops but it turned out the other way around. Many don't remember but when they first started getting rolled out some of these organizations did a flip and said that they no longer wanted LEOs to have the cams.
I think at first cops thought it was a bad thing but I’m sure cameras have vindicated more than a few cops.

Hahaha, tbh I think i can safely say I feel bad for every single officer & person (despite that "woman") who had to deal with and/or witness this CRAZY ordeal caused solely by this CRAZY ass white woman. But anyways usually once a person is finally in the back of the car and being driven away from the scene and it sinks in that they are actually headed to jail and from that point on they have no rights and no say in the matter since they are now in the states custody they immediately for obvious reasons have a psychological switch flipped in their head and at the moment (most of the time) lose the "fight" within them that they just had so much of minutes before, they are in that moment coming to grips with the fact that they are powerless and have no say in the natter whatsoever like this woman who thought she was the one calling shots and making demands. So instead they calm down and become talkative trying to make conversation with the officer driving usually trying to ask questions about whats gonna happen next or trying to garner sympathy and explain/defend their situation/actions.
Always funny how "get your dirty fuckin hands off me you piece of shit pig" turns into "please sir is there anyway you could inquire on when I'll be able to get out and back home to my kids"

@@pmr-dp8pf tazers are carried by every officer as a non lethal weapon to subdue fleeing suspects or suspects they've already detained or for a suspect they're struggling to detain due to the suspect attempting to resist and/or harm them.
Once they're already in the back of the car cage, they can simply Crack the window (all of which have cage bar's) if they need to speak with them.
A practical feature they could add tho would be a retractable sound proofed window in between the front seat and the car cage, for any officers benefit who is tasked with transportation from scene to station and having to deal with / hear a suspect in the back that won't stop screaming and/or harassing an officer that's already driving a reinforced vehicle (less damage for them more damage to any citizen involved in a crash) on a public road and more than likely on their damn laptop at the same time because they rather prioritize saving their time instead of the safety of every citizen sharing the road with them

After watching many of these I am continually amazed at the amount of non-compliance and resisting that police officers have to deal with. I could not do their job.
I feel so bad for the husband and kids I can only imagine the horror they’ve had gone through.

This is how my mother acts. It was an absolute nightmare growing up with this, getting bullied and grounded for weeks because she's having a bad day. But now she's alone because nobody can stand her.

What about when you are telling other relatives about this problem with your mom- and they start blaming the victim, start to judge YOU, tell you “come on, that’s your mother” etc. terrible.
@@KateVol my parents do that to me with my verbally/ emotionally abusive sister. The last time she screamed at me, teling me she was going to unalive herself, I should have called the cops. I was afraid of how she would behave when they arrived and I knew she would badmouth me to the entire family to try to ostracize me.

I read that last month she violated her bail and her kids were taken away and she's in jail. Driving drunk with your kid in the car should automatically make you lose custody.

That’s not what I read. Her attorney got her out of jail and they are filing false arrest charges. That’s the latest I read.

I LOVE when people are told "you're under arrest" and their reply is "no I'm not". Lady lived her whole life doing what she wants, having to answer to nobody and probably terrorizing people to make them succumb to what she wants from them because they don't want to deal with her.
