Yes having the same issue with the messaging tone default not working but thanks to you was able to do a work around by setting certain contacts (favorites) to have notification sound notification sound. Carrier and Samsung was no help. Thank you so much!

I found a fix for my Android phone: settings > apps> click on the app that's not working> turn off all notifications>clear the app cache>restart phone>after phone restarted I turned on all notifications for the app and it started working immediately. 💃

Hi there. You resolved a lack of my audible notifications before but now I cannot get any audible notifiactions at all apart from normal telephone calls and Whats-ap calls. All notifications as far as I can see are on and the volume is on max.The pop ups appear across the top of my Blackview A60 but no sound at all.Frustration and annoying is an understatement.
