What if a person is single with no family to name as beneficiary? And then say you leave your estate to a fiduciary party to allocate to a charity or toward your business that you started and they don't carry out your requests?
Dr. Lynn good advice I purchased my son's life insurance after he turned 1 week old. I had him at 20 yrs old. After he was 5 yrs old. I was told I could purchase a 20 year paid life insurance. Which is paid off as of this year. The agent at the time didn't recommend that option. Because he was young and a new agent. If he did it would've been paid of 5 yrs ago.
Life Insurance should be separate from investment. If you die you don't get both you get one or the other. Universal os way more expensive than Term Life insurance.
There are new products in The IUL market that can be structured to the need of the client. They are not always expensive because their premiums are flexible. but of course are more expensive than term insurance. If you need help to understand this. I can help. I Am a licenced insurance agent

I purchased $250k worth of term life insurance for 30 years and currently have a 401k from my job and a roth IRA. If I follow my financial plan then I will not have a need for life insurance when my term ends because I'll have that amount in my savings/assets!!
