She also said that she has been really loved by her parents. It’s just that her father did not see her for who she was when she needed it most.
I think this version rocks harder than the original french version, although both have similar energy. She could have easily been a rock singer I heard in an interview she is a fan of Queen, and she did a snippet of some Freddie songs, sadly never did a full cover as far a I know

In the studio version in 1999 album (first english language album) the guitar solo is played by Steve Lukather (from band Toto). That i mension because he is one of the guitar players that has inspired my own playing through the years. (And if anyone is interested, my latest song has just come out in my own site TTKingsman, "Better World") Lara's vocals here is a proof of that skill she possess even in these more powerful songs.
