Definitely a much more accurate depiction than most tv shows or movies. I hate when they accidentally have some or take like one hit from a bong and there is a crazy long psychedelic scene where they trip balls and see crazy things. I get that showing someone stoned can be hard since they don't really do much, but its just a little weed it doesn't mess you up that bad lol

@@szlendak1368 I meant exactly what I said. People who smoke weed generally act more like this, more mellow, slightly paranoid, laughing at things. Some shows go too far. Family Guy is a great example. In one episode Peter and Lois smoke one joint and they start completely tripping out and thinking they are in some kind of crazy ice cream fantasy land. That isn't what smoking weed does to you

@@bobarcher5837 When I got high once it was like everything was moving super slow, and I kept freaking out at the time moving so slow and being like it's only been a minute what feels like hours. But at the same time it was like I knew I was losing time being stuck in slow-motion.
Oh and I went through moments of weirdness like chasing a cat one minute then zoning out and a huge laughing fit.
I personally do hallucinate when I take weed, but that is only if I do a lot and they are always nice ones, I also only hallucinate since I already deal with hallucinations. so it can happen but you are very right it is very unlikely to hallucinate on just weed. I also agree this is a good depiction of it! :D

I’m not gonna lie, this is perhaps the most accurate portrayal of getting stoned that I’ve seen, at least from my experience. You still act like yourself, just slowed down by like 70%.
The fact that Linda and Gerald were talking and Bob was just staring at them for a few seconds, and then jumped at a loud noise and they started bickering felt too real.
My adhd combats the slowness
To me at least, it feels the same as getting drunk, and it takes longer, but I’ve never felt sick on it. It’s a trade off.

@@philbecker4676 what? That's the lamest position anyone can take. I'm 33 and I don't smoke regularly, but when my family gets together, we ALL smoke. My 63 year old dad, my 56 year old aunt's, my 54 year old, 60 year old, and 66 year old uncle, my 30 year old brother, all of us. And that's just a small get together.
Any no shame in having a good time at any age and at least when you smoke with older people you are smoking with folks who've been around the block and have waaaaay more stories to tell. On the flip side, smoking with my 21 year old sister and her friends is boring as hell cause they are just starting to get their feet wet, even if they've been smoking since they were teens

I just realized how fucking down to earth and real bob is for not just talking out his ass when he needs to make gerald feel more confident, but actually CONNECTS with him on a personal level and relates his own experiences to his to help him out while hes ALSO high for the first time. And yeah sure, its his accountant, but like he actually did a really good job. He fathered the hell out of gerald.
Plus the little joke at the end gerald makes and bobs little callback to the taxiphone is sweet. Also Linda saying his joke burgers are "ok" when Bob knows it's just for him is everything a spouse should be to another spouse, supportive no matter what
