This video deserves way more comments and likes. I’ve seen a lot of poor content on RUclips in terms of abandoned exploring. So this was a nice surprise to stumble upon this, the professionalism really makes you stand out. Your voice is also very calming, and it seems you have put in a lot of effort when it comes to finding out the history and gathering facts - a nice touch! I definitely put you up there with exploring with Josh. Keep up the good work (also subscribed to see new content!)
Thank you so much for the kind words! We really appreciate comments like this! We are thrilled to hear you enjoy our content and after a big break from uploading we actually have a brand new explore coming out this week! Hope we can continue to keep you entertained! Cheers!
Thank you very much! (its spelt Brennen but you were close haha!) It is a very good question as to why they left so much equipment and documentation behind, but luckily we got in to see it before the vandals had their way with the location!
The "battery " is a three phase transformer that converts high voltage to standard voltage for lights and outlets please be carefull it could be live with 480 volts this is a cool video
In the future you guys might want to remember to NOT touch any electrical equipment, you never know if anything could be live! As Dan T mentioned, this was 3-phase and would have literally fried you had it been live! On that note, maybe take a geiger counter when you explore hospitals. There could be radioactive materials left in the x-ray and other radiological wards.
@@UnchartedTravel It was coated upright during assembly and it hardened that way but the installation inverted the entire thing upside down which makes it look like it dripped upward.
Wow, cool video! My Mother works in a hospital and their sterilisation/ instrument cleaning ward looks very similar to the 'cafeteria' you were talking about at 14:56. Those machines could likely have been used to clean and sterilize the medical instruments & materials👍🏼
The oven was most likely an incubation oven. They're used to grow bacteria samples in agar jelly at an accelerated rate when working to create vaccines or study samples of unknown pathogens. The multiple shelves were probably used for lots of dfferent samples, which could be heated at the same time due to the low temperature needed (around 60*C max).
Pinks and light blues were common colours used in health care facilities and educational institutions because it was thought to be a soothing colour and reduced stress. That machine you thought was an MRI looks more like an angiogram machine to me
It never ceases to amaze me how in this country we can just walk away and abandon such a facility there are countries in this world that would give there entire GDP for such a facility, of which we deem unusable they could use, and they are operating there medical practices out of mud huts, and we just abandon a great in shape building, it makes me sic, what we waste in this Country.
I just wanna know HOW you got in. There is an abandoned hospital that has been closed less then 2yrs and I want to explore SO badly..but I also don’t want to go to jail for B&E..
For some reason I got a last of us vibe from the thumbnail and when I clicked on it, I was excited when I heard the intro music lol, really good video btw!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video! I love the last of us so I use the OST for a lot of my videos and take inspiration from its tones with my pictures/videos
Really surprised you guys were visited by security, with power still on and that much equipment left around I can promise you there was some kind of security system in play, like motion sensors or door alarms.
@4:50 look like an operating room especially for pacemaker and blocking out heart arteries. I’m not completely sure, but look like it, tho some equipment is missing :) Thanks for sharing this :)
The projector at 11:32 is used to lay papers on the top glass plate and those papers then will be displayed on the wall. And those projectors in the beginning of the video are used to put little photo slides in and it displays those bigger on the wall. All old equipment.
at 3min/45 sec marker, that is a 3 phase transformer, and "THE INVERTED DRIPPINGS" are from when the core/ coils were dipped and baked in insulating material at the factory, when it was built!!!
I keep recognizing the music in the video. Either he really likes Bethesda games, or he has a good taste in music. Also, I couldn't help but think of Burger King foot lettuce at the beginning, cause of how he was talking.
Thanks for a very nice history of this hospital and for documenting all that remains. You do a very good job. I do, however, need to mention that roughly half of all physicians, doctors, professors, etc. are women. So consider that if you don't mind, in future explores. Thanks!
Damn, who's paying that power bill? $$$$ haha. Everything about hospitals, abandoned or not scare me 😳, lots of people died there. Another slam dunk for Brennen 🏀🤙🏻 haha. Thanks for entertaining moi 💁🏻♂️ cheers buddy
That is a good question! Possibly the city but I'm not sure! You're right they do give off a sort of unsettling feeling, but glad to hear you enjoyed the explore and as always thanks for watching man! Cheers!
SO GLAD you dumped this style of narration, I feel like this is the tone you would use if I were mentally retarded and you were explaining to me why I had to take my pills. LOL The newer videos are much better in your regular voice. 👍 IMO, best exploration vids on RUclips.

The "oven" is probably some kind of autoclave for disinfecting/sterilizing tools & trays ect
Awesome quality and work into the vids..... it was awesome doing these colabs see you on the next adventure
Carlo Paolozza thanks so much man! Can’t wait till the next one!

+Dan T very interesting! Thanks for the information! Any idea as to why the drip patterns ran upward like that?
That was the insulation that was coated on the winding when it was built. Thankfully it was not connected

Not sure if someone covered it, been a couple years.... but the "oven" in the fracture clinic is likely used to sterilize surgical type instruments.

Nice ! Love abandoned hospitals .. always getting the creeps but still great explores.
Wow! So cool. I love these pristine finds, where people haven't come in and smashed things up.
Wow the hospital it’s looking so new Great works you guys
Thanks for share

Am I the only one who realizes the music is from Fallout 4? 😂
And Skyrim 🙂
And The Last of Us.
OH so it IS! I kept feeling like "this sounds just like it would come from Fallout" but I thought that it wouldn't be because of copyright.

you read like chills I watch him too not exactly but you remind me of him
I was going to ask, if he was related to chills. Lol
yeah i was thinking that too but i cant stand that chills clown. this guy is cool though

Wow! And I thought we were fkt up over here in ooo-k 🇬🇧. Man, your wreckage seems like our new.....
If it was a fracture clinic odds are that machine was used by PT/OT to help mold people's splints to fit their arms, wrists, hands, etc.
I keep recognizing the music in the video. Either he really likes Bethesda games, or he has a good taste in music. Also, I couldn't help but think of Burger King foot lettuce at the beginning, cause of how he was talking.
woow thats so awesome. such a great find. cool video
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed the explore!
Excellent video..keep it up.. Western Canada
Thank you very much for watching! Glad you enjoyed the explore!
I believe the thing at 3:30 is a 3 phase transformer and the drips are resin encasing the coils of wire.
Wowza. So cool. What a shame....
Just subbed! Cool video!
Just subbed from Moe Sargie! Great vid!😊
Thanks for a very nice history of this hospital and for documenting all that remains.
You do a very good job.

The oven is probably an autoclave for sterilization of tools.
Is it some way they can get it up and running! Or reuse the equipment!
See,s like such a waste to just leave potentially useful equipment.
If you're going to use Skyrim music, plz credit Jeremy Soule. Otherwise, great vids!
I wonder if the VHS tapes are different cases Thay had
That’s what he said, but who knows.
This hospital gives me the memory of the last episode of The Last of Us
SO GLAD you dumped this style of narration, I feel like this is the tone you would use if I were mentally retarded and you were explaining to me why I had to take my pills. LOL The newer videos are much better in your regular voice. 👍 IMO, best exploration vids on RUclips.

Good camera work, interesting.
Love that you have used music from Skyrim at the beginning 😍😍
I love the Fallout 4 music in the background. Adds a whole newer better feeling while watching!

Do do you even know what cast-iron is they don't make cast iron staircase
Why have they not cut the power because they need to pay electricity bills but clearly no one does that there so why is there power still on
The city probably can’t be bothered. Or maybe there are plans for it.

You use the word "abandoned" very loosely.
