I watched this film in the middle of the night and I didn't expect it to be as funny as it was. I had to cover my mouth from all the laughing so I wouldn't wake everyone up!
8/10. The film is all around funny. Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell have great chemistry. The directors did a great job on picking the cast - the actors essentially acted like themselves. The entire time you think Mark is just going to start choking Will Ferrell at any second - you can see it in his eyes throughout the entire movie. The script was funny, lots of moments you have to pause the movie to catch your breath from laughing. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson play "tough guy" roles, which are essentially cameos. The part when they jump off the roof of a building because their ego's are so high that they think they will live by landing in some trees is priceless. Overall a great must see movie that's perfect for a movie collection - has very high "rewatchability". Rotten Tomatoes gives the movie a 7.9, which I totally agree with for once. If any movie actually deserved a sequel, it would be "The Other Guys".

All the fathers were hanged and the children all got pink eye, while their Harry Potter books were burned. Those songs are really depressing man. I like them, they're full of rich history

I actually love this movie. It may not contain a lot of long ended comedy, like say Superbad, but it has a lot of juvenile one liners that make it awesome. Almost every word said in this movie can be used against your best friend when you're fucking with him, and that's what makes this movie great. An awesome bro movie - hell, even my girlfriend and I would likely laugh at it too.
