I’m really surprised by the poll results!! I really love your polymer clay goods, and that was the main reason I found you and your content. I want you to do what’s best for you and your business, but I really hope polymer clay can stay a part of it!!

Thank you so much lovely ♥️ it was definitely a bit surprising for me too! I knew the metal pieces were selling more in person but I thought that my instagram followers would be more interested in the polymer clay but it really just showed what I’ve been experiencing in sales the past year so I get it! Like I mentioned in the video it could be just because I have more metal pieces now, therefore they are selling more… who knows 😂 but yeah I wish it wasn’t the case but I have to be aware of this shift and what it means for my business because lately I put in hours of physical work to not get the return in sales so I think for next year I have a different plan of how I will go about everything 🥰

Another great video! The metal pieces are nice, but keeping the clay pieces is a good idea too - they're so unique and beautiful :)

I adore your designs! That colour looks really similar to Sahara Fimo Soft. Obviously I can't see the colour you're making in person but it might save time if it is close.

Hi Vitoria, I love watching your clay art and the markets too, there isnt many makers doing markets within Australia so I find your videos interesting.
As a small business like yours in these current times, I would put your eggs in lots of baskets and just test out what works and what doesn’t.
Perhaps you have to juggle different streams until something takes off.
I still reckon teaching some Bento classes would give you a great income stream, you’re very likeable and knowledgeable with clay and creating products for sale.
P.S. where did you get that massive sunflower cutter? This would be great for cakes too.

Haha I’m not saying I’m stopping making polymer clay pieces 😂😂 please don’t stress!! But a girls gotta pay the bills and I have to be realistic about where my time and energy goes! So I think going into next year I have a better plan of how I can balance everything more 🥰

Not meaning To Sound Naive But The Color You Made Looks Beautiful As Well! Are People That Finicky If You Created A Slightly Different Color Scheme? They're Handmade...So Color Variations Should Not Be Expected? Forgive Me But Both Versions Look GREAT 💖 Anyhow Perhaps A Disclaimer With Color Variations Not ALWAYS Exacting, Due To Being Hand Created 😍...Just Sharing!

Isn't the metal jewelry you sell priced lower than the polmer clay jewelry you make? It could just be the economy and people choosing to buy a lower price point temporarily.
I watch your channel because you actually make things. I would hate to see you become only reselling.
I am hoping you make more of the strawberry collection. The cutest design was the dangle earrings that had the white strawberry flower with a red strawberry hanging from it.
Also, I have been looking at your Instagram and think all your new baked goods designs are really cute.

Hi Claudia!! You’re so sweet thank you for your comment and so glad you liked the strawberry collection and now the bakery collection too 🥰🥰
I definitely enjoy making polymer clay pieces so much as an art outlet, the poll was more to kind of verify my suspicions of what I was already seeing at in person markers and maybe come up with a better plan to spend my time and energy 🥰 I definitely won’t stop creating with clay, I will just have to have a better plan to best serve my customers (and also make sure I can pay the bills am I right 😂)

Oh sorry I forgot to add, my metal pieces are from $15-$25 generally and my clay pieces are a little more from $15-$35 at the most so definitely the metal ones are a little cheaper but I think the reason they sell more is because they can be worn more because they are smaller and delicate, whereas some of the clay earrings are statement pieces and u wouldn’t likely wear the same piece every day!

@lazy_daisycreations Part of the reason I was thinking about price point is because as a fellow jewelry maker I have noticed in my own sales this year that people are buying things more at my lower price points than the more expensive items. I work with silver, glass, gems & pearls and like you make colorful statement pieces. I also make smaller sized items, too, with a simpler color pallet.
Here are some ideas for you:
Idea 1: set of tiny fruit stud earrings using surgical steel or titanium posts. Strawberry, blueberry, cherry, apple, pear, lemon, lime, orange, etc. in different combos. Your Halloween microstud set was inspired.
Idea 2: a selection of tiny polymer clay charms to add to the metal charm bracelets you sell. There is no reason why a person has to stick to only metal charms for those bracelets.
Idea 3: tiny to small polymer clay charms again. However, the customer would purchase a hoop type earring on which one can hang charms. Initial purchase of hoops would include the first pair of charms. Later, customer can buy other charms to switch out on the hoops.
