I love when people express themselves through art. I'm a beginner but I'm afraid to express myself. I have troubles with my feelings,...I love watercolor and acrylic and I don't know how to paint. I'm glad i found this channel. Namaste.

Hi Susan! I'm so glad you found this channel. Helping people connect with their creativity is one of my deepest passions and I totally understand where you're coming from - expressing from the heart can be so challenging.. emotions get messy and some are harder to face than others. If you ever want to chat, feel free to schedule a call a with me. I would love to help you connect more with your unique voice and express through your love of watercolor and arcylic. There's link at the bottom of this page: www.summerthyme.art/appointments-2
No pressure though, I hope the videos inspire you to connect deeper to your own creativity 🌼

I really enjoyed watching the evolution of this piece. Just changing the pose of the head added so much emotion and character to the subject. This piece invigorated my respect to the mother, the grounding colors and rushing water that leads into blossoms reminds me that the unconditional love from mother is fast, flowing, and an ultimate creative force. And it think it's interesting how you used less reference sketches as it "grew" because that sentiment parallels the relationship between mother and child. At some point it seems like the piece itself started having it's own desire for the outcome, much like a child.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment. It means so much to have these videos watched with so much presence. I love the connection you drew between my use of references and it's parallels to the relationship between mother and child.
