- Bits of footage from the one and only Drome in Birkenhead, New Years Eve 1992-1993 and 12th June 1993 with it's great atmosphere that hardly any other clubs could match.
'Well worth the hike through the tunnel'
94/95 drome was banging , Birkenhead night life is absolutely on its ass now
This is why us scousers travelled through the tunnel !!!!

Fuckin boss set 💪💪💪
MC Cyanide, Glen
amazing memorys of this place la i tell ya!!!!
Now call me a twat if youse want , each to their own an ' all that but the scene was from 89 to early 92 then it all went a bit shit and too moody.
I agree partially, it was just Rave Music 89-92 on the scene where you'd hear Piano, Breakbeat and Techno in the same night.
I think in 1993 it all changed as Rave & Dance music seperated. Certain places played proper Rave music where as some places played more Commercial Dance music.
More people started snorting shitty bashed up beak from 1993 onwards and people started dressing smarter too plus more Gangs on the scene making a lot of money and sometimes more violence 🙂
Tune,forgot wot it's called
Ah man what a fucking club the drome was. Spent many a good night in there. Shit hot.
Pisses all over the Hacienda this, Sadly The world has been engineered to never be this good ever again. Great times, JC was the Numero Uno for me
The Drome was legendary. Gotta say, I preferred MC JC over Cyanide. The bloke just wouldn't shut up.
Seeds Records
In the zone no phone!!! Best club ever shits on cream and o51 I’m a old skool raver bowlers Wigan pier fantasy island Skegness was ther the drome was my home best ever!!!
I went the drome from June 1992 to November 1997 on and off. Happy Hardcore killed the place off unfortunately. My favourite place also. Nowhere in the town clubs in Liverpool could match the atmosphere but they were more popular as most people preferred commercial vocal dance to Rave etc
It's all about the groove and had some great memories from other places too like the Quad 🙂
Early Drome was absolutely brilliant. It went tits up once it started going all “Club Kinetic”. 92-94 was deffo the best. All the old Quad & Stste lot made that club great.
Best bit of the video 4:12 - that lad in the Rozzer helmet ha ha ha ha ha ha brilliant!
What's the first tune Paul? Too many years gone by and I've forgotten lol
