Im new to drawing, I need help with being able to identify the basic shapes of things and then I need to know how to take those basic shape and learn how to construct them as you did with the mustang. Do you have any recommendations on how to learn that, book or video?
At two minutes and 40 seconds you said there was a difference between the two versions of the same character, you said one was more cartoony and one was more semi realistic. I’m a new artist, so what makes one more cartoony than the other?
Very interesting. Do you still ink with a 102 hunt crow quill and Raphael 8404 #2 brush? I've had mixed success with the 102 crow quill, when the ink keeps flowing it's great, but then it suddenly wont work no matter what i try. I got new nibs and still wont work. I'v given up and stick with the fine liners now.

Another question I had was the drawing size. On the 11x17 do you draw multiple panels and then reduce it down or do you draw 1 panel per 11x17 sheet?
All the panels are drawn as a single page on the 11x17 paper.

I still use a brush but I don’t use the 102 anymore. I’ll use Microns and brush pens.
