Li Yu is one of my favourite ppl, and the scene where he has Yuan arrested is one of the best in the series! Followed by Xiao Quanzi giving him the message as Yuan is being flogged. One of the best series ever!

之前看到有人留言表示魏璎珞心里爱的始终是傅恒，其实她对傅恒的感情已经升华，她早已经爱上皇上！
对啊，人心是会变的。璎珞做了令妃自然是逃不掉的。她不爱上皇上的话，这部戏不能做下去了。但想起她是为先皇后报仇才当了嫔妃，而最后还是跟她十分尊敬的先皇后的丈夫在一起，就觉得有点不妥。当初容音皇后说要把璎珞赐给皇上，她还哭着说她绝不会背叛皇后。这个结局也算挺好的。皇上之前不重视女人，一直怪罪容音皇后失责，担当不起皇后的责任。但现在皇上经过了璎珞的教训，懂得女人的重要。只亏了傅恒到最后还是爱着璎珞，后来也是因为救璎珞才死的。。。😢😢
是璎珞眼瞎，爱上不珍惜她的人。
其实挺可怜的，她说“既然选择入宫就不回头”，给人的感觉是她选择告诉自己要爱上皇上的，好让自己幸福点

That is an absolutely horrible way to die, especially for a child 😢 I know it’s a fake character but I do hope he died instantly and didn’t suffer any pain at least, but I def get Chen Bi’s anger more than ever now, even if I still don’t like her.

@@MinYoongi-nb4jglargely yes, like it’s overarching plot of how a girl started from being a servant to becoming the imperial noble consort, but they do still take creative liberties with the storylines, like with this one. After all, this is still a tv drama and not a documentary. If you compare this drama with Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace, they both feature the same main characters (Lady Wei who became the imperial noble consort, Empress Fuca, Qianlong, Consort Xian who later became empress,etc) but then concubine shun exists in this drama and not in Ruyi, and there’s a concubine shen in Ruyi but not this one. And although their names are similar, they have completely different backgrounds and storylines. And probably Yuan Chunwang didn’t exist in history either…
