How To Land a Cybersecurity Job Right Out of College

Getting your first cybersecurity job can be difficult and intimidating. I give my recommendations on what helped me land my first cybersecurity job right after my senior year of college.
Since I do not like when videos force you to watch the whole thing just to get the tips, here are my recommendations:
1. Do hackathons (Major league hacking and CTFTime are great resources for this)
2. Create technical projects (does not have to pertain directly to cybersec)
3. Make the most of your elective courses (heavy emphasis on courses that have team dynamic and a tangible end product)
4. Make sure your resume is well-written and not auto rejected by the autoparsers (jobscan is a great site that helps with this)
