It becomes more and more expensive in market and many people go to the mountain and pick them up, which caused huge damage to "Song Rong"s growing environment. Li Ziqi only dig a small and deep hole to pick them up and covered the moss back afterwards which helped protect the mushrooms' spores and their beds.
Because you didn't understand ,the hole can't disturb that it's growing again.but too many people came to forest distroy the environment will disturb theirs growing.the key elements are temperature, humidity, vegetation…。

There are North American species (T. murrillianum) and they're very delicious as well, and popular in Asian markets. As far as I can tell they're just as yummy as their overseas counterparts!
I live on South Oregon Coast in the states. We do have Matsutake here we call Pine's. Not easy to find and ones that know we tend to keep protected. Also we cut at certain place on stem to protect the beds so you can come back later and gather more. This is a expensive fungi and the brokers will pay high price but I only pick for my own use and protect my beds. There are a lot of other types of mushrooms for them to gather like Chanterelle, Hedgehogs, Chicken of the woods, Morels and many others. Thank you for beautiful video Ziqi.

The only one I understood was the rooster. Otherwise I am clueless...but mesmerized. I can’t compare it to the common Western craft, garden or home tv shows as this is art. Gorgeous. There is this suspension of reality in that the various segments are presented as though they are being performed as just a part of her daily (or weekly, etc.) activities. There is no research or assistance or filming going on...just her...living with mama in their rural home. It’s a lovely suspension of reality. I can easily understand that this is so popular. I love foraging for wild mushrooms, always a delightful surprise when they are found🍄
I live on South Oregon Coast in the states. We do have Matsutake here we call Pine's. Not easy to find and ones that know we tend to keep protected. Also we cut at certain place on stem to protect the beds so you can come back later and gather more. This is a expensive fungi and the brokers will pay high price but I only pick for my own use and protect my beds. There are a lot of other types of mushrooms for them to gather like Chanterelle, Hedgehogs, Chicken of the woods, Morels and many others. Thank you for beautiful video Ziqi.

The only one I understood was the rooster. Otherwise I am clueless...but mesmerized. I can’t compare it to the common Western craft, garden or home tv shows as this is art. Gorgeous. There is this suspension of reality in that the various segments are presented as though they are being performed as just a part of her daily (or weekly, etc.) activities. There is no research or assistance or filming going on...just her...living with mama in their rural home. It’s a lovely suspension of reality. I can easily understand that this is so popular. I love it too. After someone worked in a factory or an office building their whole adult life, then ultimately passed away, this is the heaven they should go to.
This is one of my "go to" sites for therapy and relaxation.....love this girl.

i am indigenous from the far northern part of California (from Redwood trees and the Klamath river), and my family has always harvested matsutake, too! Except we call them tanoak mushrooms, or ker' merkws. i can't wait to try the recipes in this video!!
