IUF Exclusive - Fernanda Lira of Crypta

Death metal has a new face from the heart of Brazil, and it's name is Crypta. We were able to catch up with the frontwoman and founder of the band, Fernanda Lira during their tour stop in Dallas, TX. Not only was this Crypta's first ever trip to the US collectively as a touring band, but this interview was also the first to be done on American soil for them. Fernanda describes all the emotional highs she and her bandmates have through since the bands inception in 2019. From the signing to Napalm Records, to dropping their acclaimed debut album, and to performing at Wacken, all the while garnering tens of thousands of music streams and building a dedicated fanbase in the process, it's been quite the journey and Fernanda has been grateful every step of the way. Fernanda Lira. What can one say; she's a super-classy woman all the way! What a total professional. First-class act! Serious mega-babe! And I had the absolute pleasure of meeting her just briefly at the Dallas show, and in those few brief moments I felt the magic she generates everywhere she goes. No wonder Crypta is such a fantastic band with her at the helm. Can't say enough. And can't wait for their second album!!

Fernanda really seems like a genuine person and I look forward to the new album, I know their tour bus got wrecked by that tornado and gladly she and the band are safe now but I bet it was crazy to have a tornado come in while on tour, I wish the best for them and I'll keep repping Crypta they're such a bad ass band!!
