He had a great day two catching all those pocket aces couple of suck outs but that’s what it takes to win these tournaments you got to be lucky and good. He made some great choices didn’t force the issue and really put himself in a situation to do well and it paid off.

Definitely expected and good etiquette to tip. How much is up to each player’s discretion
you are a good person by heart that u r asking this Q.....the answer is easy : Don't give a f**k what others think and tip whatever yr heart tells u
I’m just unsure if there is a percentage that is typical in a big tournament. Most players seem to tip pretty much the same in a cash game. However in a tournament the players pay a surcharge for the staff on entering, and I am curious how it effects the tip when winning. Anybody got thoughts about a percentage tip that seems appropriate?
@@paulwhite8275 . I spoke to Jonathan Duhamel after I cashed in only WSOP tournament I ever played and asked him this very question... 2015 $1500 deepstack. I finished 172 out of 7200+players. I got approximately 7k. Bitter sweet. Winner got something like 1.28 million. To the point, Jonathan told me 1-2%. At least at wsop a percentage of entry goes to dealers, etcetera. I tipped like 1.1%. I heard from a reliable source that Joe Hachem tipped nothing when he won the main event.
I personally don't judge anyone on how much they tip. Professional players tend to tip less than recreational players as it's their main source, if not only source of income.

So Ethan, I was in Las Vegas the week of Nov. 1 and heard you had "won another bracelet", LOL. I immediately checked the WSOP results and couldn't find your name, so I was a little disappointed. Then, this series of vlogs hit your YT and I was excited to see the run. Wow, you really battled this one out, especially on that day 2.
