Was in losers queue all season and couldn’t win with either carry supps or adc no matter how many Pentas I got because my teammates would intentionally throw. Switched to double tank duo lane and I’m on a 12 win streak. Alistar damage through max health build + AP Malphite destroys everything
It feels very toxic lane but for a pyke who knows what he is doing, you are walking 500 golds.

Thresh is so good. I used to be in top 10 back when i used to play everyday.
Thresh with a adc friend = 20 assist.
For new players, As old top player for several patch, i go iceborn and warmog as first 2 items. Build icy frost if enemy adc is ashe, vayne, jinx, etc. Twinguard is 4th item probably. Make sure 3rd items is something to counter enemy adc champ. Take 5th item to counter enemy leading champ.
Thresh can hook kayn between walls. Its amazing if u r experienced with ability 1

I went back to play support after 20 games, going from top, to jungle, to mid, trying to carry somehow this potatoes. Today with my thresh (and of course lots of broken vids) I finally understood that the giga-chad is know how to support properly, thanks broken i'm never going to try stupid things again :')
How supports play is one of the biggest regional differences between High ELO NA/EU and Chinese gameplay. Where I’m at in NA, even if the support is not duo they will almost always pick Yuumi, Lulu, Soraka and Janna and just heal/shieldbot the ADC; this is what almost every challenger+ support main in NA does and can get away with it because of DuoQ.
In high ELO Chinese SoloQ and competitive, supports are the main shot callers and playmakers and value being able to make plays and snowball early above everything else. I watched a bunch of High ELO SoloQ and Pro games; I saw the supports play nothing but Nautilus, Alistar, Thresh, and Ornn. They used to play Rakan all the time as well until Rito ran him through a windmill and made Xayah a widow.
I had the same experience when I was a pro player in league.
In fact! We never ran the typical ADC + Support botlane we use APC for wave clearing + roaming support that’s why i prefer roaming :P
@@BrokenSupportYup! APC bot is a huge part of the Chinese meta I forgot to mention. Ziggs and AP Varus were what I saw the most recently.
Hi broken first a question are there champions that you prefer right now on solo Queue. Second thing you are totally right if you look at esports you see often suports go mid or top even before lvl 5. Thats what i also like to say: you support the team not a player

I’m loving the scaling champions right now for a particular reason bro! ( especially Thresh )
People like to extend games way to much and even if enemies get fed they stop scaling ( but you don’t )
This allows you to comeback from basicly almost any losing game ( if team not hard trolling )
My opinion is mainly formulated due to the fact people can’t take profit from early advantages and end up throwing.
Cool seeing these team analyzing strategies boiled down simply. You mentioned Senna a few times, but I feel like Thresh works in way more situations than Senna does. What comps do you not pick Senna into? Also, digging the amount of drum & bass showing up in your playlist
Probably don't pick Senna if the enemy has many divers/assassins.
Honestly i agree with you for a reason;
People this season like to go full lethal builds for some reason and you end up playing vs 3-4 AD champions and Thresh armor scaling counters that!
Senna works the same way with her range ( not armor ) you can simply abuse a few tanky items that increase her damage by doing build combos such:
Manamune + iceborn + Guardian angel

Bro, i am still not sure if aftershock is better than augmented in general, can you explain in case you see this message? Also i saw a lot of "transedence" rune on the secondary tree. I suppose you go coin rather than relic, so you dont care about the extra ability haste right?

I’m not using bone plate on Thresh right now cause defensive stats lv1 are super low and these extra 2/5 and 5/2 ( armor and magic resist ) make A LOT of diff as you could notice in that lv1 fight but…
Thresh massive scales HP + Armor and Aftershock scales with both these stats so I thought that it was something worth testing and so far I’m having success with it!
Glacial is a great option as well tho! :)
@@BrokenSupport yeah I understand. Personally I choose depending on the enemy comb. If they have a lot of engagers, I go for augment to peel better when they engage. If they have poking and I will be the main engage, I go aftershook. Of course if that makes sense I dont know 🤣

Deciding when to roam on a support is super ez example if the first date goes well you will keep going on dates, the first date is the first lane before backing. If the adc shows they cant poison in lane after my first back I will not see the adc for the rest of the game

In my perspective supports are kind of mommy of the whole team (especially for adcs - they can't be left alone for more than 0,00001 sec or they'll die)

25:09 yesterday I was in same situation.. adc dies lvl 1 by walking Ingo pike/ashe for no reason. We cant fight in lane. I stayed and waited for farm. ADC walks forward alone for each minion, gets poked and finally killed. I couldnt do anything. ADC flamed the hell out of me for being „useless“..
I decided to left ADC alone.. ADC fights 1v2 still, dies,… pls try to gues whos mistake this was 😂

Dude when i play support i have a braindead adc that overpush and overstay without watching map and overfight and then blame me.
So i play ADC and i have a braindead support that push the wave, is aggressive when we don't have advantage and then blame me for dying 69 times in the first 3 minutes of the game
