I liked this show, it was cute, nostalgic, and the new cast gave great performances. It was also fun to see the original cast members pop up every now and then!
It caught it's feet by around episode 4. It's not as good as that 70s Show, but there are only 10 episodes, and the first 10 episodes of that 70s Show weren't home runs.
That's 70's show caught wind and got better ratings after the first two seasons were endlessly repeated in a marathon on a Sundays here in my land. It wasn't critically acclaimed but it was a show that it was always there on tv when you needed a laugh. 10 shows is too short to get into the groove. But you can blame Netflix for that. Netflix doesn't do 22 episodes or at least anymore. I would have given this show in the first season 15 episodes. Just long enough to feel that you've been there for a while. 10 episodes around 22 mins is around 3 1/2 hours. Burned through them all in less a day. Also 10 episodes to cover a whole summer feels too short. You can see there were moments or period of times skipped. For a first summer in Point Place, I'd thought that every day was as exciting.
That 70's show had 200 episodes at the rate this show is going you'd be lucky to end up with 40 tops this should really have been on regular TV with a bunch of episodes like a typical sitcom like the original show was but then again there'll probably be a lot less time with the original cast since they wouldn't constantly work on a long series like that nowadays they're too busy.
Why are so many clips mirrored? Kind of a distracting edit. Like watching a Tik Tok posted by someone who still hasn't figured out the settings on their phone. Other than that, pretty good video.
The characters need more refining and they should cut some kids out. Watching jay and Nate is like watching the same person their like two kelsos, I think jay enough should be fine. People tend to say Ozzie is like Jackie or fez but in my opinion he’s just annoying and complains about everything. I feel as if like this show is missing the humor or jokes the original show had, more adult jokes that even older people would get a laugh from. The only saving grace for this show is the original cast I feel like they should have gotten older kids like the original cast excluding the fact Mila was 14 to play high school kids. I wont be surprised if the show doesn’t get renewed for season 2. Hopefully they’ll be a time skip or something and they can remove irrelevant characters and write the remaining characters to be better.
@@gerardohernandezjr7297All the kids were horrible actors especially the gay asian kid but thats netflix for you they have to put that LGBT crap in every show now its making new tv shows unwatchable i dont care if people wanna be gay or trans but don't involve me in it its just like how they have sex scenes in everything now....i dont wanna see that also none of the kids in this show look old enough to be talking about beer or weed it seems phoney
Why do Forman and Kelsi’s kids not know one another? I hated this plot hole. This show was trash. Felt like an “edgy” Disney show. Very little about this felt nostalgic. 1st episode you can straight up see current bags of Doritos and 12 packs of coke in the store they go to. Set designs still feel more 70’s then 90’s.

I loved it as well, the new cast members really held their own in my opinion
new cast got better every episode. can they make S2 20 episodes please?!
No, no and no.... This is just a Nickelodeon version of that 70's show
Did we watch the same show? The show is only nostalgic because of the original cast. That 90s show is dumpster fire
Fuck this show

I always thought it was dope how that 70s show had only 2 main girls and 4 main guys and still be really good vs the usual 3v3
Can we just fucking see the behind the scenes footage instead if getting a synopsis of it

Love the show I was worried they would butcher it but it’s actually pretty good I hope we get more seasons
Netflix announced Season #2 on 2/3/23.
can't wait for season 2
I liked it. Hope for a season 2....
It grows on you
It was nice, not great.. but nice.
The old cast was the best part
The show should of took place in 1997 or later with a slightly older cast.

Copyright reasons, probably. Mirroring helps dodge over-eager copyright strikes
Yep.
It’s too distracting…I’m tapping out

Reyn\ozzie was just 12 when they filmed the show
For me, Ozzie the character is out of place. Show feels the same otherwise, good writers so far.
The only good scenes in this show were the ones without the new kids
You’re trippin this show is good

Totally agree. It is pretty bad.
Then why u watching it🙄

"Edgy Disney Show" Is EXACTLY the right way to put it. The new kids are all just bad, with some being horrible.
Wow. She really can't count to 12 huh?
everything woke turns to crap
When will they learn?
Ozzie ruined the show :(
People used to say the same about fez
Haters gonna hate I loved him for same reasons I loved fez he owns his character people be trying to sink shit they don't understand piss off eh¿
@@WickedXombieDigiKing bruh stfu i liked fez Ozzie is just annoying .
Ozzie is like the best new character?!
@@laetitiacouteausuisse5296 no one said that. fez was never annoying n he could dance n had romance skills. stop it.
Without Red & Kitty starring in this, its a flop. The new kids have zero chemistry and are not playing their characters convincingly.
Lol the show is so bad it's painful ... but it probably has something to do with the only writer who grew up in the 90s was a nepotism hire 😂
