The Bible talks about how Jesus left the 99 sheep for the ONE who strayed. It also talks about the prodigal son. If she wants to worship God who are we to stop her? The track Tasha Cobbs did with Nicki Minaj was a major pivotal point in my faith. I never really knew Tasha or her music, but I thought the familiarity with Nicki was cool and I was glad to hear her sing about God…I knew her since I was a kid in high school and of course she like the other pop stars had an influence on me…just obviously in the wrong ways. But I liked Nicki Minaj, I like r&b, and although being lukewarm my whole life, I believe in God, and this put me on to the fact that Christian R&B is an actual thing. So I start listening to more of Tasha Cobbs and Christian R&B. Since then, I don’t listen to any secular music. And I praise God and love him so much that I now love any of the once before “boring” worship songs and hymns. I literally just want to praise Him. I get the possibility of Christians “losing their saltiness”…but this same method brought me to Christ. I don’t even listen to secular music and if I’m listening to someone else’s music…I don’t even feel at ease if it doesn’t edify God. Im ACTUALLY prioritizing God, legitimately praying and maintaining a relationship with Him, actually reading the Bible and taking in his word, got baptized and you cannot tell me the Holy Spirit has not been dwelling in me and that God hasn’t been speaking to me in his ways. I’m for real walking that narrow path now and I pray that this music brings back the lost ones like it did me. I pray for the integrity of these Christian musicians and for my Christian brothers and sisters to continue to pick up our cross daily and follow Him regardless of this type of mix. I pray it be for God’s Glory. Now I pray that since Ciara did this song that she for real start to boldly walk that walk. "You protect me from low vibrations" isn't this new age? for the context of my comment: the original version of this song is one of the things i love listening to. i saw this new collab and clicked right away. then, i felt something odd as i listen to it, even when i have not yet heard the line "low vibrations". so when i heard the line, i was confused if i just misheard it that's why i searched for the lyrics and confirmed that it was "You protect me from low vibrations" a new age spirituality jargon, which explains the discernment i had. isn't it that new agers and those who practice other spiritualities determine their actions/response by how "energies" make them feel that includes high and low vibrations from things, places, and people? they choose crystals, accessories, burn sage, yoga, manifest, call on spiritual guides/animals, and so on because that's how they determine the course of their lives. it may seem harmless, but what spirit is behind the practice? that's the important thing to discern, so we know what's demonic and what's not. we know that it's not from God if it's opposite from Biblical faith. i saw a rapper, i forgot who it was, go to a body of water and practice his vibrations. yes, he was literally making the water vibrate around him, as if he had electricity coming out of him. it is definitely spiritual. they like and aim to keep a high and positive vibration around them. the chakras, meditations, zen, these practices are all connected, all not from God. regarding ciara, i don't know her that much. i see comments here that say "a seed has been planted", so i am not sure if she was a believer or not. i don't know if she practices these things, i am referring to the line she sang and where it came from. test the spirit. nonetheless, some Christians are surprised to hear it from a Christian song, it's contradictory. we are aware that it's not something we ought to practice as believers just like how one would be confused and grieved if he hears a muslim's term/belief/jargon in a Christian song, especially that most Christians choose to not listen to secular music. some Christians may not pay attention, but the other majority cannot just neglect their convictions and discernment about it. i hope that the Lord opens the eyes of ciara regarding His truth and the music she produces. also for God's guidance and protection towards all Christian artists who make music, may they stand on their ground and not give in to the system. may the Lord give us all the right discernment we need in the middle of this generation. Hulvey clearly felt led to this and Ciara God is clearly working on her. Honestly to me this is what revival looks like in 2024. The track Tasha Cobbs did with Nicki Minaj was a major pivotal point in my faith. I never really knew Tasha or her music, but I thought the familiarity with Nicki was cool and I was glad to hear her sing about God…I knew her since I was a kid in high school and of course she like the other pop stars had an influence on me…just obviously in the wrong ways. But I liked Nicki Minaj, I like r&b, and although being lukewarm my whole life, I believe in God, and this put me on to the fact that Christian R&B is an actual thing. So I start listening to more of Tasha Cobbs and Christian R&B. Since then, I don’t listen to any secular music. And I praise God and love him so much that I now love any of the once before “boring” worship songs and hymns. I literally just want to praise Him. I get the possibility of Christians “losing their saltiness”…but this same method brought me to Christ. I don’t even listen to secular music and if I’m listening to someone else’s music…I don’t even feel at ease if it doesn’t edify God. Im ACTUALLY prioritizing God, legitimately praying and maintaining a relationship with Him, actually reading the Bible and taking in his word, got baptized and you cannot tell me the Holy Spirit has not been dwelling in me and that God hasn’t been speaking to me in his ways. I’m for real walking that narrow path now and I pray that this music brings back the lost ones like it did me. I pray for the integrity of these Christian musicians and for my Christian brothers and sisters to continue to pick up our cross daily and follow Him regardless of this type of mix. I pray it be for God’s Glory.

the original version of this song is one of the things i love listening to.
i saw this new collab and clicked right away. then, i felt something odd as i listen to it, even when i have not yet heard the line "low vibrations". so when i heard the line, i was confused if i just misheard it that's why i searched for the lyrics and confirmed that it was "You protect me from low vibrations" a new age spirituality jargon, which explains the discernment i had.
isn't it that new agers and those who practice other spiritualities determine their actions/response by how "energies" make them feel that includes high and low vibrations from things, places, and people? they choose crystals, accessories, burn sage, yoga, manifest, call on spiritual guides/animals, and so on because that's how they determine the course of their lives. it may seem harmless, but what spirit is behind the practice? that's the important thing to discern, so we know what's demonic and what's not. we know that it's not from God if it's opposite from Biblical faith.
i saw a rapper, i forgot who it was, go to a body of water and practice his vibrations. yes, he was literally making the water vibrate around him, as if he had electricity coming out of him. it is definitely spiritual. they like and aim to keep a high and positive vibration around them. the chakras, meditations, zen, these practices are all connected, all not from God.
regarding ciara, i don't know her that much. i see comments here that say "a seed has been planted", so i am not sure if she was a believer or not. i don't know if she practices these things, i am referring to the line she sang and where it came from. test the spirit.
nonetheless, some Christians are surprised to hear it from a Christian song, it's contradictory. we are aware that it's not something we ought to practice as believers just like how one would be confused and grieved if he hears a muslim's term/belief/jargon in a Christian song, especially that most Christians choose to not listen to secular music. some Christians may not pay attention, but the other majority cannot just neglect their convictions and discernment about it.
i hope that the Lord opens the eyes of ciara regarding His truth and the music she produces. also for God's guidance and protection towards all Christian artists who make music, may they stand on their ground and not give in to the system. may the Lord give us all the right discernment we need in the middle of this generation.

I'm nowhere near perfect and not trying to judge but sanctification comes through proclaiming Jesus with tongue and heart her Instagram shows a lot of proclaiming herself with her 25 million followers she can proclaim God on a daily basis but chooses not too. Someone needs to say this so I will. I hate being Christian. Not because i don't love Christ, but because CHRISTIANS are some of the the most divisive groups of people i have ever seen. Yall don't realize this, but you are the Pharisees of the Bible. Always quoting scripture to weaponize it against people and trap them in fallacies. The Pharisees did the same thing to Jesus Himself. They try to say.. "but the scriptures say this.." they were so proud of themselves for knowing the law, that they knew the law but didn't know Jesus Himself. Some of yall act like you know of Jesus, but you don't know Jesus the way that yall divided and seperate and weaponize the word. And then you throw the word discernment in there to make it sound sweet. Discern your own heart. Yall gatekeep Jesus, you do. If someone doesn't worship like you, you are quick to cast them out. And ironically.. the gospels.. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are full of examples of Jesus Himself hanging out with, loving, welcoming those outcasts. And the Pharisees (you) would ask Jesus.. why do you hang out with sinners.. tax collectors.. lepars.. prostitutes.. and Jesus would answer them because He has not come for the righteous, but the sinners. For it is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

Last i remember Jesus offered the woman at the well His Living Water, despite knowing she had many husbands and a man currently that wasn't her husband.
Last i remember, Jesus forgave the man that men (we) persecuted on the cross next to Him for stealing.
Last i remember those same holier than thou Christians (Pharisees)(You), persecuted Jesus Himself and nailed Him to the cross over the law.
Last i remember Jesus told Peter he'd deny Him 3 times, and when Jesus rose from the grave, it was Peter, the one He loved that He went and sought after and showed Himself too.
Last i heard, when He died on the cross He said it is finished.
So why yall gatekeeping Jesus.. why yall making worshiping our Lord an exclusive club where if you do xyz you can't sit with us.
