Heidenau actually make pretty good tires. Those K60s are quite good, the Scout version has great mileage. I don't know where he got the "scooter tires" thing. Also, it's no wonder KTM is bankrupt, their services are horrendous after they got your money for the bike.
As I was riding through the Alps and many many twists bends and hair pins, I wanted to tyre that I knew and could trust on the road so I thought it best not knowing anything about those tyres to just try and find something else. In the next episode. I find a Perelli scorpion which I was happy with and at that stage I had done eight Ktm dealers through Europe and they weren’t very helpful so I agree with you
