This is all based on the fact that all is mind. That means, something akin to the matrix. If everything is mind or an illusion than you can manipulate that mind, that "reality" with your belief, thoughts, feelings. In fact you already are creating your reality with your thoughts feelings and beliefs, you just don't know it. Once you realize this, and you accept it. Than you can begin to CONSCIOUSLY, and selectively create the world you want, not the haphazard world you are getting now.
It's in Christianity, Hinduism, metaphysics, etc except that it's sometimes misunderstood or the real knowledge hidden. This is where we get the word occult (hidden)
