My LG TV is older than that, I bought it in the Comet liquidation sale in late 2012. 48”, full HD, LCD with LED backlights. It’s still working fine 12 years later. The Freeview tuner doesn’t work but I use it with a Roku box. I doubt a current LG would last 12 years.
I just wanted to let you know there is actually a good market of retro gamers looking TVs with RGB/SCART and VGA so they can connect there old 80's, 90s and early 2000 consoles and computers up to a nice big modern display like these without expensive low latency adapters. Plus there are modern recreations of those computers and consoles such as the MiSTer FPGA. Now some people really want old CRT screen for valid technical reasons, but most of retro games don't have the space for an old CRT screen just to use for retro gaming and would much rather have a flat panel with a larger screen and a modern HDMI input as well so we can use it for modern smart TV with a cheap FireTV stick or plugin a modern console as well. But most modern TV dont have the old style connectors and a lot of the cheap adapter boxes don't work well with even a Nintendo Wii, never mind a Sony PS1 or an old Atari STe or Amiga A500 from the late 1980's. So if you advertise any of the older screens like this you fix in the right place as having the both a modern HDMI input and old school SCART , VGA and composite or RGB in you should have no problems selling them. I expect the biggest issue can you still get the parts to fix.
Hey Allen how did you know that I had an Auntie Bob? ;-) ShopJimmy is a great US company so you did order them from overseas. You must have a 230v to 110 step down transformer in your shop.
True. Had a donation at the charity shop of 35 Sony Bravias from 2010. Once I got rid of all the ones that had their screens broken in transit, I got a picture out of all but 1 of them. Never get that kind of hit rate with LCDs. Got a Bravia from 2005 awaiting me next week. Wish me luck.

Nice save Allen, it’s a polish model I believe I have seen odd ones before probably been imported when the owner moved here 😊
good video as Always.
I still have a LG 42 720p plasma TV I bought new in 2007, and still going strong.
"The power supply has high voltage capacitors so don't go near it."
But it was the high voltage capacitors which had gone on mine! ;-)
Makes me laugh that LED backlights often seem to be less reliable than the CCFLs that preceded them.

I've been watching awhile really interested. I never seen you ever break a screen yet did you ever?
Thanks for the cap warning. Some channels don't bother.
