I tried eating THESE Korean-Chinese FOODS in Chicago | Albany Park

One of my favorite things to eat has always been Korean-Chinese food. originating from Chinese settlements in Korea. Due to famine, crime and generally an unsafe area around Shandong (correct me if I’m wrong), many migrated to other parts of China and Korea where they brought their food with them, And it slowly got integrated into the culture of Korea. It just goes to show, good things can happen during unsavory times.

Those ladies know me before I was born. My mom went there the day before I was born and she ate a whole bowl of soup. I grew up in Albany Park and I’ve always loved this place. Their soup, shrimp fried rice, and their tea are the best.
