Hi Roshni!🤗 Yes, it is to be eaten as it is. It’s a popular Goan Sweet made during Christmas season. But now that you mention it, it would be so creative to use it as toppings on cakes or sweet breads! Once, my daughter tried making gons, but unfortunately mistimed the steps, and the whole mixture set before she could transfer them to the paper liners. It turned into a firm lump; we then broke it down with a spatula and ended up with individual pieces of coconut coated in sugar. Looking back, they could have served as dessert topping 😄
