DEFINITELY one of the (if not THE) best Directs ever, and also Smash Bros. Ultimate right now is looking like THE best video game ever in gaming history to date (or at least within its genre(s)). Now, since the E3 2018 reveal, and this Direct, the team is goin' in; no kiddie gloves nor training wheels. In the Ridley reveal Mega Man and Mario got SLAYED, on this Direct Luigi got REAPED, and Mimikyu can straight up KO fighters (most likely if they have high %). Oh, and the Death Scythe item which Ness gleefully swung KOing two fighters. It's all cool. :3

The trailers for this direct were beautiful to look at. I've never laughed so hard at the K. Rool reveal. Luigi was so adorable in the Castlevania reveal! This is a game that will go down as the best entry in the series and it really shows.

Just noticed with the Everyone Is Here picture that they moved around some of the characters to make those gaps and accommodate the 5 characters from today’s announcement. Plus they had the total number of stages and music tracks, but not fighters.
