No problem, the only things I would suggest is change the tom samples, turn up the kick, and maybe change the snare as well, the tail is a little long.

  • @vichoko

This version is very good, and excelent instrumental example. Very good production
Just wanted to say there is a small diference between the real song and this version:
The part that start singing "I embrace my, desire no ..." enters a compass after that in the real song. That is, there is an extra waiting compass before Maynard sings.

    • @KarimThomas2016
      @KarimThomas2016  7 лет назад +1

What do you mean by compass, like a crash cymbal?

    • @vichoko
      @vichoko 7 лет назад

I mean the music metrica to measure the time, composed by many pulses. The part before Maynard sing 'i embrace my...", when the bass does a round alone, and the guitar enters, and does some rounds before maynard start singin'.
That one; the real song does just 1 guitar cycke, and then the singing starts, but this version does like 2 or 3 guitar cycles.
It's kinda difficult to me explain this because i don't speak good english, but you can compare it with the original version, you'll figure that your version is longer in compasses than the real one, because of that.

    • @KarimThomas2016
      @KarimThomas2016  7 лет назад +4

I double-checked the original, I played an extra guitar cycle before the lyrics came in. You are right about that part being incorrect.

Black then white are all I see
    In my infancy.
Red and yellow then came to be,
    Reaching out to me,
    Lets me see.
As below, so above and beyond,
I imagine drawn beyond the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.
Over-thinking, over-analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must
Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.
Black then white are all I see
    In my infancy.
Red and yellow then came to be,
    Reaching out to me.
    Lets me see
    There is so much more
    And beckons me
    To look through to these
    Infinite possibilities.
As below, so above and beyond,
I imagine drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.
Over-thinking, over-analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition, leaving opportunities behind.
Feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line.
Reaching out to embrace the random.
Reaching out to embrace whatever may come.
    I embrace my desire to
I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected
Enough to step aside and weep like a widow
To feel inspired, to fathom the power,
To witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,
To swing on the spiral, to swing on the spiral,
To swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human.
With my feet upon the ground
I lose myself between the sounds
And open wide to suck it in.
I feel it move across my skin.
I'm reaching up and reaching out.
I'm reaching for the random or whatever will bewilder me.
    Whatever will bewilder me.
And following our will and wind
We may just go where no one's been.
We'll ride the spiral to the end
And may just go where no one's been.
    Spiral out. Keep going. [4x]

Most people who delve into new age stuff think the third eye is for seeing.
It can be used for seeing, but more importantly the third eye can be used to create light.
And of supreme importance, it can be used collectively with others to create light constructs.
Those people who find the pathway of righteousness that God teaches, will eventually be taught many things that are not important at this time. Right now, we need to learn morality. To stand up in righteousness and walk as God walks. Stop crawling around on the ground in sin. This lesson of learning to walk can and will take a lifetime. But learning this over 120 years is a childs lesson compared to an eternity learning with God as our teacher.
Him who is unashamed to 1 call us his children, 2 share his eternal throne with us, 3 lay down his life so we might have a chance at eternal life, He, the eternal God will not hide anything from us.
The future of eternity is unfathomably valuable. Worth anything and everything. But I know something that is of even more value than eternal life. The removal of sin.
This single thing, is worth all effort. We are fish gasping for breath, flip flopping on dry land. When we are put back into water, everything is right with the world.
We live in sin. The moment it is removed, it is like a fish swimming in water for the first time, after a lifetime of gasping for breath on land.
I said it twice because it is so important.
I have left the cave, and I have come back to tell you of the glorious things outside the cave. But all you can see is your own shadows on the cave wall.
Believe me, you will want to get out of the cave. Though the way is narrow, and few find the way.
Seek Jesus. read about his death. He was naked, and bloody, in pain. Why did he choose this? Why would anyone choose that?
If you choose to become a follower/priest of his, you must wash your entire body with water. Head to toe.
Then you can start learning how to walk as God walks. One in heart, and mind. Both doing, and thinking are connected.
Read the bible, pray to God daily, and examine your actions every evening. Was there anything you could have done better?
These three things are between you and God. No one knows but you and Him.
The last step is to adopt the mind of God. Think on what he thinks on.
What is found inside the Ark of the Covenant is what is found inside God's mind.
The law written in stone. The hidden manna, the branch that was dead and came to life, budding, blossoming, and bearing almond fruit.
I warn you, this path out of the cave is narrow and difficult. I have fallen down countless times. countless. But I have no choice. There is only one pathway that I can take. The other leads to death.

@@KarimThomas2016 Depends on the song but I'd say Draiman. Draiman can do distorted vocals with vibrato which is SOOO hard to do. MJK has some songs with a perfect circle which are easy to cover and some tool songs with are realy realy hard. That being said MJK voice is uncopiable and you can never sound just like him

He check out this lateralus parody I wrote
    Right
    And
    Wrong are
    Clear to me
    At the beginning
Hell and heaven then showing me
    As a prophecy
    The ending
Here on earth and the spirit is what I imagine
    Actions lead to consequences
    Motives stem from thought
    Life or death
Opening multiple pathways of the different outcomes branching from our lives
    Entering our own ambitions
    Weighing opportunities and I must
    Redirect my strengths and weakness
    Step into the new design
    Right
    And
    Wrong are
    Clear to me
    Added to mercy
Hell and heaven then showing me
    That you’re defending
    The real me
    The gates
    O
    Pen
    Up to
    What we sing
    You hear everything
And responding to the song we bring
Here on earth and the spirit is what I imagine
    Actions lead to consequences
    Motives stem from thought
    Life or death
Opening multiple pathways of the different outcomes branching from our lives
    Entering our own ambitions
    Leaving opportunities behind
    Redirect my strengths and weakness
Urging me to come to Christ.
Crying out to embrace the savior
Crying out to embrace the spirit that comes.
    I embrace the, compassionate
I embrace the, compassionate sovereign savior, to be protected
For him to advocate, as I weep like a widow,
As I, am inspired, and I fathom the power, and witness the Beauty. And bask in his presence.
He sings with a smile, sings with a smile.
Sings with a smile of, our divinity, as we are both human.
With our feet upon the ground, I once was lost but now am found
The price he paid, To clear my sin and feel his spirit move within.
I’m reaching out he’s reaching in. I’ve reached the time when life begins and with this new relationship. Yes with this new relationship.
And following your will and wind,
You’ll take me far where no ones been.
You’re making all things new and then.
You make me new and free again,
    I’m redeemed, you’re showing
    I’m made clean, keep glowing
    Seed of faith, keep growing.
    Path of light, keep Going.

This happens when people project their stupidity in other people's craft.
