Think of some very well fashioned queens like aquaria, rajah (as6) and sasha velour have all spent very little (maybe around 400$) for all their looks on their season (because they could sew)
And chichi definitely was able to get crafty with her grabage bag dress

I dont understand how elektra isn't on this list she was literally in the bottom for the challenge she should've won and was eliminated for making an amazing contemporary performance while her competitors ate lunch and made one balloon animal

Exactly, how Elektra and Kita ended up lip syncing when Karen and Art basically stood there and made a single balloon animal and shoved cake in her face, whilst Elektra created a beautiful dance routine and Kita made a pretty funny magic show routine. To be honest, we couldn’t really expect anything less from this season, it was basically “If you’re not S*****t, Karen or Art, even if you hands down did the best in the challenge *cough cough* Elektra *cough cough* you don’t get to win and you’re in the bottom, don’t complain or you’ll get the boot (Etcetera Etcetera)”
They could've just forgot at the time, it happens. There have been a few times in videos when a certain topic comes up again in conversation they bring up a queen or 2 that they forgot to mention.
Have you ever done a “A List of all the queens that fell out with Ru” or the Drag Race company? That would be interesting to see

I honestly think Etcetra from down under was slept on, I did not agree she was in the bottom for the challenge she went home on. I was so mad when Jojo Zaho was sent home and was not given a rudemption. Uk queens I'd have to say Cherry as well, her drag was so polished and I honestly saw her as a front runner. I loved Scaredy Catt and IK she was a baby queen but I also feel like her looks were polished and had like a slightly more unique take on the runway.
Right! And etc etc was so mature and thoughtful in the workroom when they were discussing Scarlett’s past mistakes. I was taken aback by such a young person being so wise, and her drag was so multi-faceted!

@@aaronnauer2398 Honestly Thailand has some of the most breath-taking and polished queens in the world like their runway concepts and just like how funny they are in general is so crazy really just the best of the best queens
She did great in lots of ways but I feel like she was not quite ready. It feels like she was used by producers to eliminate queens and that they were not really interested in having her win from the start.
Tayce literally was the definition of “slept on.” How many times did we hear Michelle tell her, “I thought you were going to suck, but…” only to be in the bottom? Trash

Nah, she was praised over and over again for looks that would have been torn apart if a less conventionally attractive queen wore them, like a net body suit with some shells glued on, or the dollar store fairy wings. Even her finale look was a pretty basic body suit, and her monster mash was literally just a basic wedding dress with fangs.
Omg the way Shannel was slept on was criminal. She embodied herself so authentically in every challenge and was great to watch. So glad she stood up for herself and articulated herself in such a graceful manner

Let's not forget Episode 7 of AS3, where they had to act as award winning female actresses in their trailer for a new upcoming movie. Remember how one of the "humorous" points was them "not needing an organist because they all ate Octavia's pie"? Right, harmonious fart sounds with Michelle and Ru laughing in the background? Yeaaaaah, mhm.

Okay I guess this is a controversial opinion, but I actually loved Rock's ball look. It was super fun and colorful, and even though it was a lot I still loved it tbh
I think the neckline was awkwardly low and the bottom was pretty confusing imo.

crystal was so refreshing to me, i loved seeing a queen who kept her chest hair in drag. unfortunately, i don't know if drag race or rupaul was quite on board with the level of genderfuck that came with that and a lot of what crystal served.
Justice for Sum Ting Wong, hands down. She didn’t get the edit/track record she deserved, and the fact she lipsynced on an episode where her performance wasn’t even worthy of bottom 3 was criminal. Crystal too, I think she could have done way better if the judges actually recognised her talent instead of shafting her to save Baga, Cheryl or Vivienne
Elektra should be on the list, she was in the bottom twice when I thought she did the best both times! Like... She was too Beyoncé, and they didn't like her messy wig even though her number was the best....
Her messy wig is excusable because at least Elektra *presented a real talent*
I think for season 5 lineysha she should have won the first challenge and I if she won the first challenge she would have two wins and I don’t think they would send her home in the lip sync against detox

I'm still hurt Rock M. didn't go further in the competition, I'm sure we could've had great/funny moments from her. I hope to see her on All Stars one day.
Widow in S12 tops the Slept-on list, despite her E1 win. S7 was a mess with the constant pushing of the queens they thought would be favs of the fanbase's largest demographics.
It would be nice to see most of these overlooked queens to be in an AllStars together. More like of an AS6 vibes where the winner is unpredictable and you have something to look forward to.
Acid Betty was slept on, but I think everyone was pretty pleased with their elimination. Definitely had a bad edit.Thorgy was definitely shafted both times they were on.
I don't think she was. She placed high 3 times but someone just did better than her.
And i don't think she had a bad edit, she literally said some harsh things.
Both of them need another chance on All Stars 100%. Even though some people don’t like Acid Betty, we can’t deny she went home way too early
Blu was very overlooked in UK1 to me, she should've been high or win in the first episode, i think her downtown abbey performance was the best out of the 3 bottoms, i think her self made costume deserved high, same with snatch game and i disagreed with a lot of the critiques the day she went home
I’ve thought for so long that Blu should have been in the top for the first challenge. Her queen look was brilliant and intricate. And the fact that they put Sum in the top for her concept over Blu…
I do think Sum Ting deserved her top 3 in the first week, but Blu I think definitely should have been top 3 for the design challenge over Vivienne, could have received at least some positive critiques for Snatch Game, and didn’t agree with all of her critiques for the commercial challenge
I would say Ivy Winters tbh, she slayed nearly every single challenge (Not snatch game) people say that the top 6 was good, but never include her. Slept on by the judges & the fans tbh
I agree. She was just too nice in a season full of drama so it felt like she wasn’t even there at times.

"Farts is the limit" I wish it made sense like that but they literally had quite a big fart joke in that horrible AS3 acting challenge so it's only the limit if it's not written out for them?

I remember her entrance and line, " I hope you girls have a sweet tooth". I also remember the beard comment from Michelle. I felt bad for her, she could have went further and should have had more screen time.
great list! i think for season 9, i would probably include jaymes. her looks were fun and campy and, for me, her lipsync was more interesting than kimora's. they just weren't feeling the fantasy for her and that's really unfortunate, especially considering what an icon we all know she is!
inti would be my other pick for spain. i really didn't understand the critique they gave her about not owning the runway. every time i saw inti, they gave me supermodel.
I agree with Inti! From the very 1st episode, I had my eye on her, but I guess there wasn't room for her as "young fashion queen" category was already being occupied by both Dovima and Sagittarius. I love both those girls too, and honestly, Spain season 1 was amazing, but Inti was slept on!
Thank you for the Asttina praise!! It’s crazy that she was eliminated third, I agree it should’ve been a double save. You might be interested to know that Asttina was actually rumoured to be on International All Stars but sadly her mum passed away right before the UKS2 finale.

Jaidynn so deserves to be a fan favorite. Even when she wasn’t doing the best, she was so entertaining and sweet (especially compared to most of the s7 cast) and her runways were usually really cute! Her leather and lace was adorable and y’all will never tell me otherwise

If we added thailand we could deffinetly say that Bandit was slept on a lot and on season 1 for some reason the queens just hated Amadiva and Jaja.
Bandit wasn’t robbed but def should have gotten more appreciation for what she was doing cause damn, she’s amazing at what she does.
imo bandit shouldve at least won a challenge but idk which challenge. bandit is an absolutely amazing queen but there was always someone who outperformed her

Jaidynn is such an amazing person and is completely overlooked at the most recent drag con in NYC when i was there i felt horrible for Jaidynn because she was in a very busy section of the convention and not a single person stopped at her booth and in all honesty im so happy I did because she was so humble and sweet!
And it honestly baffles me because there is a queen who had over an hour long wait and once i was able to meet the queen, the positive quirky person she makes every one believe she is was completely inaccurate and she went from one of my favorite queens to my least favorite

Utica Queen in my opinion is one of the most overlooked queens in herstory, purely based on her eccentric personality.
I rewatch season 3 and damn Yara have all exept the respect of the others. Her runway that she made herself, her acting challenge, her charism, her itw everything is hilarious or beautifull.
My additions would be:
Season 2: Jessica Wild ( just the whole damn season)
Season 5: Lineysha( Design, her Lipsync)
Season 6: Courtney ( Ball looks, Rap, and sme other challenges) and Joselynn (SG, Rap)
Season 8: Naomi (Ball Looks, even kinda Political challenge)
Season 10: Blair St Clair ( I mean she placed in the top the first three/ four weeks) and even Mayhem (Her Ball Looks were great)
Season 11: Honey (just so talented)
Season 12: Widow ( her Ball looks, her Rusical, her Debate, her Gays anatomy)

Yvie is the most slept on winner. Genuinely feel she deserved more than the one win.
Yvie not winning the farm to runway episode still confuses me. She was given one critique, bring us glamour. On her first chance, she brings them glamour and a gorgeous outfit. But that entire season was weird.

@@c.k.8585 I agree it was forced and think plastique should have been critiqued more harshly but I also think that it was still an excellent look and Bianca did the same silhouettes. It's super mixed and hard to say because generally feed back was all over the place season 11
@@juleandejesus3420 And Bianca was only safe on the second design challenge she did, having Bob Mackie essentially call her looks boring. For the makeover challenge it worked because that specific makeover was very specific in scope so you could not fault people for using specific sillhouettes. Plus the runways on that season outside Trinity (who bombed most challenges) and maybe Courtney (who was still mostly naked) were nothing special.
Rock M's ball look was a tetherball, that's what made her hair even better, as she was the pole and the hair was the ball that you hit around the pole.
They slept on Jan on S12 because they knew they are getting her for All Stars. Same for Denali. Its intentional for storyline purposes. They always assign an robbed queen of the season so they could win something in All Stars (either a challenge or win the season) 🤣

Drag Race Down Under sucked so bad. It still frustrates me that Anita and Coco were cast out.
I think that for uk, cherry was slept on more than Astana. Cherry slayed her freddie mercury look, her Darlington look was amazingly edgy. And her performance in rats was purposefully scared looking
I agree on all of this but I will also like to add Nicky Doll and Max to the list because with both of them. They actually had a decent run despite Nicky landing in the bottom twice (second time I didn’t get tho) but she still was high in the ball. And with Max, she had won like 2 challenges (I’m not justifying her snatch game tho I mean she had Sharon’s look down) but I just feel like the judges slept on her throughout the competition
How didn’t you get the second time? She was the worst in the acting challenge. I think she’s beautiful and has good drag but she’s not an actress to say the least

In most of them there were girls who were not given the wins, or randomly put in the bottom that could have been mentioned.

i would say you missed vanda miss joaqim, she was done so dirty on the last challenge where she was eliminated and her runways were very often criticized for being "too safe" compared to other people's unfinished and poorly executed looks.
I honestly feel that Farrah Moan is the most slept-on queen from Season 9, not because she should have had lots of challenge wins, but rather because there were several challenges where she should have been in the top and was just safe. For me, she should have won the first episode, as her looks were stunning and I think I'm right in saying that that was the first time a queen wore their natural hair on the runway and it worked really well for the look, but at the very least she should have been in the top with Sasha and Nina. She also should have been in the top in the acting challenge where she co-starred with Trinity, and with all of the joint-wins that season I think that was a great opportunity for Trinity and Farrah to co-win together, because they both excelled by playing off each other. Her track record of just being safe and in the bottom shows that the producers never saw her as a legitimate contender, so she was definitely slept-on.
She could've won the first episode if she actually did the Alejandro costume reveal. She had a good reveal, I *still* do not know why she didn't show it to the judges.

I don’t think Jan was slept on at all. She didn’t deserve any wins on season 12 like people say she was robbed during the Madonna Rusical but if you watch side by sides of what they were suppose to be doing then it’s clear that Gigi had embodied Madonna way better and on top of that Widow and Jaida also did better than Jan in the challenge
100% agreed! The Madonna Rusical was just so jam packed, almost everyone killed it! Never thought it was hands down Jan like everyone else seems to think

S5 has Lineysha Sparks who was AMAZING but they slept on her and she was eliminated on her first lipsync despite did great in the competition until this point , also she deserved the first win of the season! Her paper look was one of the best looks that were made from scratch on the workroom !
I think most of the picks were accurate. I get why Heidi wasn't on here. They may have slept on her, but literally she kept pulling the curtains open for herself. I do want to almost make a case for Shangela's season 3 run. Yeah they brought her back, but I felt like they brought her in so that the other girls would have a punching bag.
I think considering there has to be "one" winner per challenge, putting queens on top is not sleeping on them. Unless queens who are just safe when they deserve to be high or in the bottom for no reason.

When you talk about Art not slaying the lip-sync… you know that the production crew lost the footage and then asked Art to come back so that they could re-film her not winning the lip-sync. Right?
No wonder she was lacklustre while Coco “won” with an equally beige performance.
So cruel. And proof that we can’t judge lipsync s by what we see. We know that they have to perform the song multiple times so that they can get various camera angles. And then the editors choose what to show and what to hide to manipulate what we think happened. 💔

I think Tamisha Iman was also slept on in season 13 in episodes 3, 4, and 6 and the discomentary, and A’Whora was also slept on in UK season 2 in episode 3, 4, 6 and 8

I think Tamisha was SO underrated. As i remember, she was sent home on the disco challenge, when she just slayed the choreo and messed the face ONCE because of her health issues, while gottmek was terrible. I didn’t get it at all

At this point I don't even know if the judges genuinely don't get certain queens or if they're deliberately sleeping on them. Because the way some queens are overlooked is really suspicious. Drag Race Espana may be over but I'm still mad about how The Macarena went home first. She had SO much more to show.

You should do a related video like queens in most episodes without a win. For example Pandora has been on 3 seasons without a win so probably 15 episodes? Juju was on around that same number before her first win. I wonder if there will be any other interesting folks on there.

Scarlet was SO overlooked on all stars though, I'm still mad.
Inti not being in the slept on group for Spain is showing how slept on she is. She was read head to toe for a look that literally was SOOOO stunning. She was read down so hard every episode that she just gave up. Granted she should have lip synced in that girl group episode, but her drag esthetic wasn't understood and was given constant criticism!

I think in many cases it is not that a queen is slept on but rather that they are the only choice left when they have to protect other queens that they still need for their storyline and/or workroom drama from falling in the bottom.
E.g. in UK2 they didn't want to risk Lawrence and kept Ellie until she gave them a story with Lawrence; I honestly feel that if we had gotten some good Lawrence/Ellie drama earlier and that story had been resolved, Ellie would not have stayed as long.
Suprised Elektra wasn't here. though she got 1 win. She was put in the bottom undeservingly twice. and shouldve won the queen's Down under.
Utica Queen had the best runways all season and she was slept on every week on that runway.
