    With so many undersized connection cables, may I ask you to consider taking a voltage reading at both ends of the cables under max/near max load? I wonder how much of the missing 12% efficiency was due to the cables.

      I did some more testing on the voltage loss in the wires and here is what I found....
      With the wires that came with the inverter:
      @ 600w.. 12.66v at the battery terminals and 12.46v at the battery terminals
      @900w.. 12.24v at the battery terminals and 11.92v at the inverter connectors
      With 4awg wiring:
      @600w.. 12.55v at the battery terminals and 12.46v at the battery terminals
      @900w.. 12.18v at the battery terminals and 12.03v at the inverter connectors
      Wiring size makes quite a bit of difference! I hope this gives you more information. Thanks for the comment!

    Odd that at 1000 watts of output the two 30amp fuses didn't fry. My calculations would suggest that 720 watts of output (assuming 100% efficiency for easier math) would be 60 amps at 12 volts.

      Kind-of off-topic, but if any of your viewers are planning something, after experimenting and fabricating solar power units for folks, I've found that a Mr. Coffee jr. machine, the smaller, black, 5 cup model, uses 635 Watts during the brew cycle, and intermittently when the heater plate cycles on the warming pad. I found that a 1000 Watt PSW inverter is needed to stay within the normal margins (no alarms sounding, no excessive heat-up, or cut-off) to use this machine, along with at least 100 W of solar and a 10 Amp MPPT charger, and a 100 Ah LiFePo4, and fuse/wires. If you use the coffee machine more than once a day, you'll need to throw more solar at it accordingly. Hope that helps some folks. Cheers@@OffGridBasement

    I do know a lot about the internals of inverters, right down to the component level and after spending the past 24 years repairing inverters, I can tell you from experience, that you're throwing your money away by purchasing one of these cheap, Chinese made, high feaquency, transformerless inverters. For one, they don't last. You'd be lucky to het even a year's worth of service from one of these units. Second, because there's no iron core, copper wound transformer to isolate the DC input from the AC output, all it would take would be for a single MOSFET to short to ground and this inverter can send high voltage, high amperage DC current straight through to your AC loads which can not only damage your AC loads but can also set your AC loads on fire. Even at $99 this inverter is absolutely not a bargain.

      That's my concern with high frequency inverters. As you say if one mosfet went short circuit the output would be DC at 170 volts (peak of 120v) or 340 volts if it's a 240 volt unit. Switch mode power supplies would probably work normally but anything containing a conventional mains transformer or induction motor would be destroyed

      @Travisj535 I would recommend any of the following inverter manufacturers. Schneider Electric, Sigineer Power, Magnum Energy, Outback Power or Victron Energy. Just make sure that you're buy a low frequency, transformer based inverter.

    It looks decent Enough for light loads. Too bad the Stand By drainage is pure suckage.😂
