Thank you so much! That was easy. Before seeing your video, I pried open the remote and the internals flew out (several weeks back). For the life of me, i kept assembling with the battery side up🤦🏾♀️. I kept wondering why it wouldn't reassemble. It did not occur to me, not even for a second to flip the circuit board with the flat side facing up🤦🏾♀️. Because it wouldn't work, I thought I fried the circuit board because of EMC, and I was just about to order a universal replacement🤦🏾♀️. Luckily, a mind told me to RUclips before making the purchase. So, thank you. 😁😂

thank you my genie was slightly different but you saved me thank you so much we thought our remote has gone bad and we've been just using one remote so they had to change that battery too LOL
2 things about this dumb remote: 1) the circuit board fits both ways, so keep the 6 gold contact dots opposite of the handle end as shown, and 2) the battery plus(+) side isn't marked on the battery cage, so draw a (+) there with a sharpie to remind yourself.
Great video! But I've changed my battery before, never had to reprogram it again. I have been robbed from a neighbor! Could this be the reason I have to reprogram? Somehow gas ended up in my oil for my mower!! Can someone break in my garage? Help
OMG, do you have a neighbor from hell! Most newer garage remotes use a rolling code that changes each time the remote is used. Are you able to put a security camera in the garage to see what's going on? Nest cameras are a good option. Let me know what you find out.
Did the learn code button flash? If yes did you push the button on the remote and did the learn code button stop flashing after doing this? If yes did the learn code light turn off after pressing the remote button again? If yes push the button one more time and the door should work.
