@@lukecody3785 no Its a grenade launcher it fires iut grenades that go boom but in the case of airsoft it is basically a shotgun
The big gun is an MGL 6 shot rotary grenade launcher. Depending on the shell loaded it fires 120 bbs at once, foam rockets or some sites allow the impact grenades, smoke and flashbangs for long range fire support.

10:46 its a capture the flag gamemode. So one team has to turn the “flag” to their color. So since silo is on the red team he turned it to red but an enemy recapture the point and turned it into blue
No its like King of the Hill. Capture the flag is running to the other side, taking their flag, and running back without dying

Silo is probably one of the better dudes to watch for airsoft content. The fact you started with his fails and rage video was funny though lol glad you checked out more of his stuff. If anyone is gonna get you into it. Its probably gonna be him

That's a 20mm rotary grenade launcher that shoots one big wad of bebes.
Grenade launcher, they were tossing it over a gap (as to not get shot), and the spinning cup thing was a capture point (if it's red, red team gets points, blue gives blue team points).
It would be cool if you tried doing some airsoft videos once the fields are open!
Silo is a hilarious player. He tries out all kinds of things and he slips and falls at last one time per video.
As for no face masks, it's so that people avoid their heads. They want to be able to complain if they're shot. And make other players hesitate.

i do a lot of airsoft and i hate games where it takes 20 shots to kill a person. like warzone.

2:51 this moment reminds me when you shoot an enemy with a sniper rifle and for no reason an npc gets in the path of the bullet XD I know this hurts but I can't stop laughing after seeing that and then remembering that the same thing happens in Call of Duty.
A big reason that silo and novritsch are so good is because they're both ex-military, to my knowledge. novritsch was a scout sniper in the Austrian Military.

Yo man you need to turn up the sound of the video I can't hear anything had to put it up to max volume. Just letting you know.
Clip 26 the spinning canister with 2 colors on a pole is for Domination/Capture the hill. The color matches the arm bands you have Blue team and Red team. Whichever color is up has control of the point and is gaining points. Silo hit a Red control point and it spun back to Red so his teammate suicide ran to spin and got lucky with it facing Blue up while being in the middle of No Man's Land.
As a 14yr old who plays airsoft there are some kids that get hate from adults, I was playing airsoft about 7months and a 23yr got mad and hit me with the stock of his gun.
One of the Golden Rules of Airsoft: "When in doubt, call yourself out." Basically meaning, if you don't know if something was actually a hit on you, call it anyway.

thats a capture point used for conquest games. You need to turn canister to your team color in order to be called as having the point. They were both laughing as they both got shot but they managed to turn the canister to their team color.

This is literally the fastest I’ve ever seen a channel grow. You hit 10,000 a month ago, and at this rate, in 1-2 weeks you’ll be at 200,000. That’s insane.
at 10:36 it's capture the flag type deal one side is red the other blue and they need it to be flipped to their color for a certain amount of time to win, and the guy you are watching is Novritch and he is honestly one of the best Airsoft snipers I've seen.

The one with the red/blue thing is a game type that's kinda like capture the base. Usually, you win by having your team's color facing up at the end of the match.
In airsoft they have grenades. There are normally two types that i like to call Sound and Spatter. Spatter shoots out BBs while the Sound doesn't but it is louder. The grenade launcher can operate as a shotgun, firing around 120 BBs in a single shot, or it can shoot other grenades such as foam rockets, impact grenades, smokes, flashes and perhaps others that i am missing. The rules with grenades is that if the nade explodes within 10 feet of a player, they are considered Hit. Although hiding behind cover does prevent you from being hit.
Player: "I'm going to have a fun day at the field "
Player: *Gets blasted in the face with a 40 mike*
That one big looking gun they were using that you asked if it was a shotgun was a Rotary Grenade Launcher that holds up to 6 shells of 100+ pellets. If you think that is cool, I would recommend watching more of Silo's videos. He shows off all sorts of cool things like that including airsoft landmine/claymores, a minigun, an RC car rigged with a camera and gun on it along with all sorts of other cool things. In one of his videos, he even rigs himself with a sort of suicide vest strapped with airsoft grenades before running into a crowd of enemies and taking like a half dozen out in one go.
He does all sorts of game modes like king of the hill and capture the flag, and even did some PUBG style rounds. And the fields that he plays on are pretty sweet like The Castle which is pretty much some old castle ruins that use to be used in war. It has flooded underground tunnels and old artillery setups. It's pretty cool.

at 10:50 the game mode is basical hard poin from call of duty, 2 teams fight over control of the area/ hard point. the coloured pole represents which team is in control of the area.
