Honestly talking about Canon 200d II, I love the camera but I am impressed with M50 II because it can shoot video in vertical and it is mirrorless camera 😍😍😍

Will this option be cheaper compared to 200D mark 2 which doesn't need mount. For Long term investment which one better option. In canon 200d ii , you will get plenty of expensive and inexpensive original and 3rd party lens options. both EF (full frame) and EF-S (APS-C) mounts are supported by 200d ii..you can use nifty fifty lens for those gorgeous protraits in 200d ii. But for m50 ii you will only have to go for EF-M mount lens or have to invest in adapters, 3rd party EF-M lens are very rare. And EF-M lens are expensive as compared to its EF-S and EF counter parts. if you wanna go for Canon mirrorless then better invest in EOS R series cameras with RF lenses. i personally think Sony A series is still best option in mirrorless world. Overall I will go with 200d ii anyday for its versatility and long range of lens options.overall it's economical and comes with tick mark in most of the departments. Though it's probably smallest DSLR ever by canon but only downside it is slightly bigger than m50..so those who wants to keep the form factor small should go for mirrorless.
@@QuizWave594 canon is slightly bette if Autofocus is your primary usage criteria. If you have budget constraints, try to get a used Canon 50mm. Even the 50mm Mark 1 is better than YN50mm in autofocusing. Alas, YN50 has some edge in CN50 interns of apartheid blades and overall center sharpness. I have used both. And still using CN50 as my YN50 broke down after 2 years of usage.
I think you missed One draw back of 200d Mii which is the center pin issue for Flash you can't use Manual flash with this Dslr camera because of center pin issue though you can use TTL flash by Godox or Canon but it's costlier for those who have this camera !

Only thing I miss in Canon M50 Mark 2 is the Canon 200d grip. 200d gives proper DSLR feel. Otherwise every other feature is slightly better on M50 Mark 2. Battery backup is less (as compared to 200d) but as a casual photographer I hardly ever shoot 300 photos in a day. 😃
