I watched this song 4 years ago and God used it to save my life. I went to church that Sunday and a preacher asked to preach that day and he said someone here feels like they are better off dead than to sit on this church pew. And there was more to the message but I dont remember much about it because that was when I realized God truly was not through with me. I was having suicidal thoughts and struggling with hurting myself.
God turned it around and now I'm a hospital sitter and you are part of my story. I tell people I heard your video and it changed my life. Thank you for posting. God bless you.

I'm gonna share a story with you. God really used this song to help me once. I remember sitting at my desk in highschool once and thinking we've got to do something about this suicide epidemic. Though, I can't keep people from making bad decisions such as this I can share my story. So here goes, Back in 2016, I hit a DEEP depression. Though I said I was fine, I was not! I would have garbage like "you're just a stupid piece of trash, you deserve to die" play over and over in my head. I felt like such a failure and the circumstances around me were pushing me to my limits. So one day I told God God, I'm just a stupid piece of trash and I deserve to die. He said my Son Jesus done took care of that when he died on the cross for your sins. And when I would tell him the lies of the enemy, he would respond with the truth and say try this Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; that my soul know that right well.
So I went to church that Sunday after hearing this song, and the preacher said he had never asked to preach anywhere in all the years he'd been preaching but my pastor was sick that morning and he preached. Bro. Paul fredericks preached an awesome message and I honestly can't tell you what it's about but I recall one statement "Somebody here feels like they're better off dead, than to be sitting in this church pew." He preached on how I was worthy to be a child of God by the blood of the Lamb or at least it's what I got from it. I remember Tom Wilburn was closing out service and I was bawling at this point and I testified and one point I said was God's not through with me! And He's not through with you! Now, the road has not been easy and like Jeremiah I've fell in that terrible pit more than once, but God never fails to bring me out. They got them old rotten clouts and pulled Jeremiah out and the prayers of the righteous availeth much and can do the same. So listen, if you are struggling, don't slit your wrists. I would have panic attack and hit or pinch myself as a way to "punish" myself. I wouldn't eat enough because I had a fear of commiting gluttony. OCD/scrupolosity or any mental disorder is bad business that takes a Savior to heal and I'm praying for mine still. So don't hit or starve yourself, and please please don't kill yourself. YOU have a purpose! And you could be the best one to save a life or make a difference in someone's life! The road has not always been easy and I still don't claim to have a bed of roses or the greatest mental health. But you see, the storms of life effect lost, saved, the just and unjust. It's just not worth it to take that precious story away. I know how you feel, the devil would tell me jump off the ledge, put the knife through your chest. But I had the most precious friend to lean on whom I'd say I wouldn't be here without. HIS NAME IS JESUS!! Tell your story, you could be the difference!
